City Hotel Wetzlar

This definitely was a first. The hotel was officially closed over the Christmas holidays. Somehow we were able to make a reservation. No one knows how. After being on our feet for over 30 hours after flying from the States all night due to a family emergency, here we were, at a closed hotel. Long story short, they opened the hotel just for us, we couldn’t believe it. The hotel is clean and modern. Rooms and bathroom are a little small but very efficient. The best part was the next morning. Someone especially came in to make us breakfast (since it came with the room) one would think that it would be a basic breakfast, since we were the only ones. Quite the contrary. Not only were there an abundance of choices but it was so professionally decorated. Little chocolate Santa Claus on the plate and all. And all for just us. Can’t rave enough about this place. Katja, you were awesome!
