Radisson Blu Hotel, Hamburg

Excellent stay although am annoyed that you pay extra for another bed when you have declared that there are three of you one is a child and several hotels on this trip have assumed that a 12 year old will share the bed with the adults ..it looks like future trips I will have to book 3 adults ... This was not the case with all hotels . But when booking on a comparison site is a hit bad when on a budget then you find you have to pay extra!! An expense not taken into consideration when booking ..

The room and location are fine, and the hotel is in a good condition overall. Breakfast is good as well. A rollaway bed for a child is 50€, which is a total rip off. The receptionist couldn’t care less, allegedly this is the chain wide fee at all Radisson hotels.

Even though we asked for a room for 2 adults and 1 child, there was no single bed/sofabed and we were charged EUR$50 per day for the bed in addition to what we had previously paid. Furthermore, there was some sort of leakage in the bathroom, which kept spelling some yellow liquid under the sink. We were also told we would get an Easter "treatment", which probably meant "treat", which we never did. The staff was not really friendly. The convenience store is good, and the location is great.

only OK to be honest, paid for a suite Suite (Planten Un Blomen Park when I arrived I was told we were to be given a Family room which was at the same room level/type but even though it was nice it was not as nice as the room I had booked and not even remotely the same size. that room I book was 60M is size and the family room was only 37M I suspect our room was give to someone else. I didn't make a fuss about it as my wife was happy with the room we received but I was less than impressed compounded by the fact that I only booked this Hotel due to Google saying it had an indoor and outpool , but I was very annoyed to find out that the hotel does not even have a pool at all . to which I was told it was not their fault but google's fault and they had contacted them to let them know . but that didn't help me who had to travel a number of miles to a public pool with my Kids I would recommend Hamburg to visit but I will not be staying at this hotel again
