4-5 days in Berlin with family - this was an amazing hotel. Loved our stay, staff was so friendly, helpful and gracious. Delightful mix of art all around hotel, short walk from Brandenburg gates and Reichstag- wonderful shopping, restaurants, and things to see right around hotel. Stayed in a family suite - very comfortable, clean, great bedding. My family loved the free, stocked-daily minibar - we enjoyed beer, wine, sparkling and still water, OJ, Coke and great room coffee daily. Aldi right next to hotel had the best croissants.

We loved staying here with our family. Our daughter especially loved the pool. :)

We booked a family suite for 4 days. The hotel was lovely, the lobby is full of art and sculptures and the service at the front desk was good. Our room was so well thought out with plenty of storage and wardrobe spaces perfect for a family. The bedroom had a very generously sized bed which was super comfy and in the living room the sofa bed was a decent size with a well padded mattress unlike other places we have stayed in. The room was lovely and clean and the bathroom was in good condition with a great shower. We were very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location with lots of cafes and other amenities only a few steps away making it ideal for exploring. My kids loved the pool which was also clean. The hallways were all in really good condition. We didn't eat at the hotel as there are so many places to eat on the door step. Overall we highly recommend this hotel based on our experience and would be back. It's been well maintained and most importantly for us was clean.

We arrived on Christmas Day and stayed a few nights. It was a perfect location for our young family because we could go to Christmas markets that we still open but we didn’t have to travel far to do it. The U and S Bahn are 5 minutes away walking, and one large Christmas market was 10 minutes away! Plus the pool was a great place to hang out for the kids before heading into the cold. This location also had some small cafes open nearby even on Christmas Day and second Christmas Day, so we didn’t feel confined to the hotel when most of the city was shut down. We will definitely come back!

4 people (family) - loved the layout of the room - separate main bedroom for my husband and I, and the kids had a "bunk bed" convertible couch in the living room. Hotel very clean, service good, location great. Felt very safe. Easy to get to attractions or train.

Great stay in family suite. A swim in the pool every day was fantastic.

Hotel Maritim was… OK. At first, we had a problem because of snoring and we wanted to move to a bigger room. They could not accommodate us even though we were willing to pay more money for a larger room or a family suite. They just said no we can’t move you around - it’s too hard for housekeeping to clean the rooms. Secondly, the room was always just a little bit too warm, and the refrigerator never kept the food cold. They said something about conserving energy and the high cost of fuel but it was just not comfortable. Now we are in a different hotel and it is a big difference - it is comfortable.

Absolutely fantastic stay. This hotel has all the perks of a very expensive hotel but very reasonably priced. Next door to transit and close to most of the main attractions, shopping and good restaurants. The staff were excellent, very kind and helpful. The pool was a hit with the kids. Highly recommend and we’ll be back.

First room had a towel with poop on it. Was moved to another room right next to the elevators didn’t sleep at all. Asked to be moved and the final room, phone didn’t work, fridge didn’t work and the last two nights a family with the loudest kids moved in next door. I was out all day every day exploring the city the intention was just to use this room to sleep, which I didn’t get any. Could have just stayed at a hostel instead.
