aletto Hotel Potsdamer Platz

There is a park in the courtyard. The room is small for a family of 4. We had to put our luggage underneath the beds which was annoying pulling it out and taking stuff out of them. The room was ok for 1 night.

We just had 8 days at the hotel. Whilst the hotel is very clean, comfy beds and great hot showers etc, I did have a bit of an issue that the rooms weren't soundproofed as advertised. The first two days we were woken up at 6am by someone in a neighbouring room that had a DOG whining for quite some time, then the following few days a young family stayed near us and we had a young girl chatting very early in the morning and kicking the wall on the bunk bed constantly, so I would say BRING EARPLUGS. The towels, whilst replaced daily, are quite small, so I would reccomend taking a quick dry large travel towel if you have space in your luggage. There are no tea and coffee facilities in the room, we did bring a travel kettle etc but then there was no way of obtaining a mug. We ended up getting croissants and fruit and juice from a Lidl supermarket a ten min walk away for breakfast in our room as the breakfast buffet didn't really seem worth the money when we saw it and even just a croissant was over 5 euros. On a plus note one evening we did have dinner there and the gnocchi portion was generous and they do make a good strong cocktail. Location was great for pottsdammer platz and tecknik museum and for hopping on the tube to get to places. There is one usb plug and one euro plug each side of the bed and then one euro plug by the TV. A hairdryer is provided in the bathroom. Overall all it was a reasonably good stay but the noise problems were annoying. Staff very polite.

we informed the hotel just before check in that our kid was sick and that we would not go and they could give the room. They did not refund us even for one night as a good will

It is challenging to find family rooms for four in Berlin. Aletto offered a double bunk beds. Just what we needed. The room is efficiently designed and the hotel location very conveniently located near public transportation.

Super convenient location with U bahn right at the corner( 3 min walk) Also the downstairs can visit the Gladerrick (Trangle track ) playpark in a few min which is great for family with kids !

Good place to stay with the family for some days in Berlin. We had a room for 4 person's which was not very large, but it was big enough and good furnished.

You can borrow board games for free (great for families). In the room there was only very limited space to hangup the wet jackets

Very clean, friendly staff and easy to communicate in English, The morning breakfast buffet is excellent. Train station is very near and walking distance. My family and I enjoyed our stay and we will definitely use the same hotel when we decide to visit Berlin again.

It is really just an upscale hostel. My single occupancy had four beds, no fridge or coffee maker. No chair or table and no room to walk because it was all just beds. It would be great for a group of kids but not so much for a single or romantic couple. Other than that it was fine.

This place is OK. Not great if you’re traveling with children. The rooms are remarkably small. You can hear the steps of the upstairs guests. Staff was overall great except the cook at breakfast, who every day seemed too upset to make an omelette (almost offended we asked). Location was good, not the best. They had games available for the kids which my son appreciated.
