Tiny room. We were supposed to have a desk in the room to work from. Ended up having to sit on the bed and put the laptop on the window ledge to set it up as a mock table. Yes, the bed and window were that close together Even though we were received notification before we arrived that our room had been upgraded, there is no way this was an upgrade. We stayed here because it was close to family and friends. We won't be back and we won't recommend

A small hotel with a very big welcome.Staff all so friendly and helpful in every way you would need and more; from selling transport tickets to helping us sort a problem we had with our arranged airport shuttle. One of the staff even a gave us his own business card in case we got lost and needed to ring him for help. Staff very knowledgable about local restaurants and places to visit. All spoke fluent english and showed a genuine interest in all quests whether English, German or American etc. The rooms are well equiped and did not miss having a bath as the power shower was amazing. We stayed in late March and there was snow on the ground but this does not stop anything in Munich and the hotel was lovely and warm; radiators in room large and we were never cold in the hotel. The hotel itself has lots of charm and was decorated with easter bunnies and eggs. Breakfast was a pleasant and relaxing experience with a good variety of cereal, boiled eggs, meats, bread, cheese, fruit toast.yogurts and good selection of tea, coffee and fresh fruit juice. I would recommend this hotel to small families, couples and business people looking for an unassuming small hotel with friendly staff and good facilties.

This is a fantastic, family run hotel. Everybody is so friendly and so helpful, and nothing is too much trouble for them: the 10 euro breakfast is brilliant, with fresh local produce. Thelocation is just great. 5 minutes from Nymphenburg Palace, where you can easily spent a day wandering around. Easy access into the city centre by train or tram (the staff can help you with tickets) and direct train to the airport (about 35 mins, 11.20 euro). There are some very nice restaurants just a few minutes away: good German, French and Italian tucker!!

If you are a parent with small children this could be a great place to stay in Munich. The park of the Schloss is exceptionally beautiful, large, varied and full of water fowl. The Schloss is interesting to visit. And there is a children's science and nature museum in a wing of the Schloss. Although Isaiah could not understand the audio, he still loved the wonderful animal exhibits. The neighborhood is pleasantly calm, with excellent restaurants that cater to families with children. We especially liked Schwaige Bier Garten in the Schloss, which even had a small playground with toys. There are small shops but not many - mostly a residential neighborhood. The hotel is quaint, very well taken care of and the staff is exceptionally warm, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is perfect German big breakfast in a light filled room with charm. Very easy to relax and enjoy.
