Hotel Deutsche Eiche

I stayed here with as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens). We had the 1 bedroom apartment booked and it was absolutely perfect. The hospitality of the front staff was so great. The room was so clean. It was a short walk to the essential sites for Munich. Overall, it was a perfect location and a great time had.

Gay friendly hotel but NOT overboard. Most guests hetero. Just to say, not in your face. I stayed with my kid. Staff was great. Rooftop terrific. Restaurant excellent. Room design 5 stars.

We booked the junior suite on level 4. It was an amazing space with a lovely balcony. Housekeeping did a fantastic job. Great facilities and very clean. Will definitely recommend.

Very friendly and extremely helpful check-in. Room was spacious enough for my family of three. Decor was very well done. Bathroom was very nice with separate deep soaker tub and stand-up all-glass shower stall. The bathroom had a night light and heated floors near the toilet…those little touches did not go unnoticed. It also included a small terrace that had a small table with two chairs. The surrounding area was fantastic to walk around and my son enjoyed the gelato place right next door. It was also, at most, a ten minute walk to Marienplatz. The hotel restaurant had excellent food with daily specials. The welcoming Prosecco for the adults was enjoyed and the free drinks from the mini bar were a really nice touch. I would highly, highly, highly recommend staying here if you need a room in Munich’s City Centre.

Great location to walk to various sights. Clean nice hotel and spacious room with good set up for a family of 3. Enjoyed the rooftop terrace too! Would stay there again!

We reserved the junior suite which was very roomy for 4 people with a great bath tub, in the separate bath area and WC. They provided us with a beautiful vase of full of pink flower lilies that was very fragrant. Overall, great hotel near the center of marienplatz and metro. 🌸😍

The apartment suite with balcony was beautiful and perfect for me and my two adult children. We had room to spread out and the complimentary items were generous and appreciated. Walking distance to major attractions - viktualienmarkt and Marktplatz. Breakfast was diverse and delicious. We only stayed two nights, but it was overall fantastic! Two minor comments: 1) parking was a little confusing and inconvenient if you’re driving. 2) pull out sofa is not very comfortable. The stay was wonderful and these items would not discourage me from staying there again - just offering the information here for awareness to future guests.

Great hotel, rooms so nice. Roof top bar was great and view was unbelievable. Service outstanding, didn’t hesitate to hold our bags or accommodate early check-in for tired travelers. We are a family with 3 kids and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Very walkable area.

The Hotel Deutsche Eiche was perfect for our small family for our visit to Munich. It was very conveniently located near the Viktualienmarkt. The restaurant located within the hotel was also very popular and good. Overall, the rooms were great, the staff friendly, and a very satisfactory stay in the heart of Munich.
