Leonardo Royal Hotel Munich

Friendly staff, quiet room, comfortable room, there is a playground for the kids nearby, big park, U-bahn 5 minutes from the hotel. But the door to the bathroom was from the glass and very heavy, we couldn't even close it properly. The room was very clean and I've found some hairs in the bathroom and on the bed.

Checked into a room that smelled and reeked mmm of really bad body odor. The hotel staff was unprofessional and treated me as if I was lying to them. They only changed rooms after the housekeeping personnel verified the smell but were unwilling to change. Hotel did not acknowledge VIP status and actually did not care until on after you mention VIP status. No room upgrade mention whatsoever and no free parking until you fight for it. This was one of the worst hotel stays ever through Expedia. I travel quite frequently and have since been staying at major chain hotels. Looking to just use major chain hotels membership sites instead as this experience was so horrid. The location is quite horrible as well with no convenience stores or any stores for that matter nearby. Closest food availability is a ten minute walk through busy streets. Traveled with small child and regretted the stay. Very expensive stay due to Octoberfest event. Would rather pay more to stay at another property. Expedia, please never recommend this hotel to VIP members. You may potentially lose them as customers.

The front desk staff were less than courteous. My laundry was lost for a day. The room was too hot and noisy as it was next to construction as well as lots of children constantly running up and down the halls and being disruptive in the lobby. Several days it took hours for us to be out of the room to get the room cleaned.
