Parkhotel Schmid

Lack of air conditioner and proper ventilation system made it very disappointing stay, as the room temperature was above 30 celsius during one of the hottest days of July! Nice outside restaurant and friendly staff, good breakfast, nice environment, small pool for entertaining kids and cooling down :)

Little swimming pool for couples or families with children. We have really enjoyed it. Good breakfast and all included in the price for room.

The rooms are very comfortable. Inside heated swimming pool with Sauna and whirlpool are a delightful area. Families traveling with children an ideal place to stop. Outdoor facilities are eco and children friendly. Also inside.

The hotel was being refurbished but the hotel was in a liveable state. The room was good and the staff already kept the kids beds ready when we checked in. The sauna and steam bath was really nice but the jacuzzi was out of order. The pool was 28 deg - felt a bit cold but worked for my daughter. The breakfast was good overall (birchermüsli can be better but it's tough the match the swiss :)). The restaurant was nice, but limited vegetarian options. Staff was quite friendly, lots of free fruit and sweets. Nothing much around in the village but very close to the autobahn and still quiet. We walked 30 minutes to Bonnstetten and ate a nice restaurant there at the recommendation of the hotel staff. Also used the indoor kids playground and was very useful.
