Hotel Schlosskrone

We stayed here for one night after spending the day at the castle. The hotel is ideally located near the center with walking streets only with restaurants and shops. The room worked well for a family of 4. There is also a kids area and gym for those that may want to workout on vacation. The breakfast was excellent with a large variety of options, including a chocolate fountain! Parking is easily accessible under the hotel with a 2-story garage. The staff were wonderful and check-in/out was a breeze. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel at a foot of Neuschwanstein catsl. It only took us 7 minutes to the parking area. We got Royal family suites that had two bedrooms with two king size beds, and a living room with a queen size sofa bed. It was rare for German hotels, but this hotel had an air conditioning equipped and that was a huge plus. Only minus point was that the parking lot was full and we had to unload, and then bring our car to a different parking space. Which was fine, but there was no place to park or even double park in front of the hotel, so unloading while we just parked on their drive way wasn’t easy. Breakfast was fabulous, the best ever hotel breakfast I’ve ever had! Even though hotel rooms are equipped with AC, restaurants wasn’t, so we ate in a warm room with not much ventilation, but it was still good. Overall, our stay was fabulous, staff was very helpful too. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Neuschwainstein catsl.

This was a family trip, room with 4 comfortable beds. Nice shower and tub. Location is perfect in the city center, parking garage is available. Breakfast buffet was well prepared with plenty of chouces.

We loved this place, stayed two nights in a family room and upgraded to the Bavaria Suite the third night. I would recommend to book the suite directly, it isn’t that much more expensive but it’s huge! Friendly staff, wonderful breakfast and lots of nice guests. I would love to go back to Füssen, and if I do I will defo stay Hotel Schlosskrone. We also got a hefty discount on the tegelberg bahn just by telling them that we stayed at Schlosskrone, I didn’t even know about that - the cashier asked us where we were staying. Huge bonus :)

Wonderful breakfast buffet with so much good food. Dinners were very good as well! Parking underground was impossible for a full size van but they accommodated me so I parked somewhere else. The curve to the lower deck is only for little cars. All staff were so nice and helpful to our family.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was a very good size, and the bed was very comfortable, the pillows were the large square European style which I found a bit uncomfortable. The bathroom does have clear glass doors which might not be great for families that are traveling but did not bother us. The breakfast was much more than we expected. Most free breakfasts in Europe are just cold items like cheese, sliced meat, bread, and boiled eggs. This breakfast had much more, there were lots of hot choices like bacon, scrambled eggs, crepes, and even a make your own waffle station. The parking garage is a bit difficult to navigate, if you have a large vehicle you may want to park elsewhere. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would like to stay here again if we are in the area.
