Manava Beach Resort & Spa Moorea

Would definitely return to the Manava! We felt so welcome, and loved the restaurant and bar, the pool, the snorkeling under the OWBs, the sunsets, and the easy walk to town (restaurants, shops, grocery). We had a Family Duplex which was perfect for a family of 4. The teenagers each had a twin bed downstairs and parents had the king bed in the loft. The dinner buffet/show and breakfast buffet were amazing! And the staff was so helpful with everything, especially Mairi! Thank you!

The staff at this resort were incredible. They went above and beyond with every detail. The property itself was also amazing. We stayed in an overwater bungalow with incredible views. I would highly recommend this hotel for families and couples alike. It is a beautiful setting with 5 star service and atmosphere.

We loved the property. I took my three teen / early 20 kids and we had a blast. My only issue is that the staff was not particularly friendly. This was not across the board and I would go back to the property. If you are spending the money to go to Moorea I suggest spending extra to get an overwater bungalow. We saw one of the standard rooms and it did not compare to the overwater bungalows.

Manava was awesome! We stayed there for a week with 3 nights in a garden room and 4 nights in an overwater bungalow. The resort is relatively small which I loved. I loved seeing the same smiling faces of the employees every day as it made the experience feel more intimate and family like. This place is awesome. Don't hesitate to book!

Amazing views, great food, pool was awesome. Room a bit small for a family of 4 but we had a yard and private pool, so it didn't really matter. We would come back!

Great location, walkable to several restaurants. Great happy hour at hotel from 5-7. Wonderful pool. Great snorkeling right at the hotel in front of the overwater bungalows. Free snorkeling gear, SUPs, kayaks, life jackets. Very friendly staff. Great includes breakfast. Very kid friendly.

This is a wonderful resort to stay as a family for a relaxing vacation at the beach. Staff was absolutely wonderful and rooms had everything you need. The resort is small but not busy at all so you can relax. Service staff is super kids friendly and the bartender is one if the best we ever had. The private beach and snorkeling is wonderful. You can use the resort kayaks and SUPs as well as snorkel gear for free. They have 2 wonderful restaurants at a reasonable price point with kids menu included. Island excursions can easily booked at the front desk. The offered free aquagym classes as well as crafting workshops for the kids are awesome. I can highly recommend this location for a relaxing family trip. Kudos to the staff!!!

The location and property are lovely. The ongoing construction was a mild irritation. There was a note in the room about the presence of ants and boy, they weren't kidding. By the second day our room and bathroom were full of them. We had a colony in the shower. We got bit in several places. Being aware of ants and having a thriving ant colony are two different things. For a five star resort this is unacceptable. We stayed in another location and they didn't have a single ant.

We had a wonderful stay at Manava, 2 adults and 2 children in a garden pool bungalow. The garden was small but a great size for us and then we also used the large outdoor infinity pool a lot also. Room was tidy and well equipped for us, staff made it up every day. Happy hour every day was good for cocktails. We easily booked a boat trip through the hotel. Free use of snorkelling gear, kayaks and paddle boards was great. We saw plenty of fish just off the bungalows. Easy taxi ride from the ferry (2500 xpf). Walking distance to a supermarket, other restaurants, pharmacy etc.
