Great location. Friendly staff. Cute hotel with comfortable beds. We arrived on an early international flight and had two exhausted little kids. They let us check in very early which made our day a million times better.

We've stayed at this hotel during multiple trips over the last few years and it continues to meet and exceed our expectations. The staff are so kind and accommodating. This time we travelled with a 10 month old and they made sure that the room was ready with a crib and helped us move to a different room to make the stay more comfortable during kiddo's nap times. Couldn't recommend enough. A true hidden gem. location is very convinient to the metro, parks, groceries and dining.

This hotel is adjacent to the Sorbonne (lots of college kids coming and going), walkable to the Pantheon and Notre Dame. For most of the other big attractions you’ll need to take the metro or a cab. Wasn’t super impressed with the dining or bar scene in the area but there are a ton of movie theaters around, some showing old classics and some showing current. The hotel itself was fine, stayed for 6 nights. We arrived early and our room wasn’t ready yet so they took our bags for us. Then when we did check in around 4pm they lost one of our bags at first and there was some confusion but ultimately it was found. There were also flies in the room throughout the week. They did provide bathrobes and slippers which is always nice! You have to turn in your physical room key to the front desk every time you leave which I thought was odd, granted maybe that’s customary for Europe I’ve only been one other time. The mattress was kinda hard too so I had some trouble sleeping. It was quiet at night and we did not hear other guests. Probably wouldn’t stay here again but it wasn’t bad, either.

Will definitely recommend this hotel to families and friends. Very clean staff were very helpful and pleasant. All the time there where someone to help us. It was walking distance from a lot of great places and very safe to walk at any time. Great service and great people.

The location is absolutely fantastic, you can walk to many sights (if you like to move around). Very nice and helpful staff. Nice room with adequate space, we had a junior suite. Quite okay breakfast, better than average.

Hotel Rive Gauche is an extremely nice and pretty boutique hotel with great service in a very walkable neighborhood near transit. Also near Luxemburg gardens for morning walks. Our family of 3 stayed in the charming junior suite with plenty of room, modern facilities. One improvement needed is the breakfast - at 16Euros each the offerings were not up to par compared to other European hotel breakfasts. Better to find a cafe in the neighborhood - including right outside the door.

Just completed a 6-night stay here with my family. We had five rooms total. We all, without exception, loved this hotel. The staff members were great. The location is outstanding if you like the 5th (Latin Quarter). The decor is unique and artsy without being pretentious. The only thing I think other possible guests should know is that some of the rooms do not have doors on the bath area. (The toilets all have doors.) This would be VERY awkward for guests traveling with non-romantic friends. It was not an issue for us, thankfully. Some of the rooms do have doors between the sleeping area and bath/shower area so perhaps you can clarify with the hotel at booking. Great place to stay!

I stayed with 2 grandchildren, and it was perfect 😍

Stayed with family, two teenagers and a kid. Great hotel and the location is fantastic. Easy walk to restaurants and all around. Felt confortable for the teenagers to venture on their own around this part of the city on their own. Good rooms with all you need for a pleasant stay. Tip: There are restaurants just in front… which makes it great for a later night drink after a day around the city.

Service was excellent - front desk team was extremely attentive and helpful. Will recommend to friends & family.
