Le Matissia

Convenient location close to the subway station and supermarket. Lots of cafes and bakeries nearby. Kitchen was equipped with a nespresso machine and nespresso pods, which were a nice touch. We had breakfast in the room two days, which was very convenient with kids. We were given a water bottle after check in—very convenient for the water fountain in the hotel. Gautier was very friendly and provided us with information on how to get places in Paris. Room was a little tight, but for European standards it was still good. I would probably furnish it with more lightweight furniture, but certainly not a dealbreaker. Clean property. Would stay here again.

Great hotel, spacious room with a separate room with sleeper sofa for our two kids. Bathroom was tight, but not unusual for Europe. Great location, just a 5 minute walk to the subway. Front desk staff very friendly and welcoming. Gave us a welcome package that included water bottles, travel bag and stuffed teddy bears for our kids! They have limited hours they are there, but give you access codes to come and go as you please. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants near by, including a local laundry mat that we utilized. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Matissia provided our family with a wonderful stay in Paris. We look forward to returning! My family included four (two kiddos, 9 & 11). We stayed in the 1-bedroom and enjoyed the layout. It included a living room with kitchenette. My kids shared the pull-out couch in the living room. The couch/bed was very comfortable. The kitchenette had everything we needed – fridge, microwave, stove, Nespresso, and all the plates/glasses you could need. The fridge was stocked with snacks, soda, and juice. The cabinets also included basics – S&P, sugar. In addition, the Wifi was good, TV had available streaming services, and the plugs had converters for USB. The room was quiet throughout the day and night. I didn’t hear any hotel neighbors and the windows were well-insulated against outside noise. We’d open the windows for fresh air and to hear the neighborhood – but if it got too loud, we just closed the windows. Also, good light-canceling curtains. The neighborhood was great! Extremely close to the 7 Metro, 15min walk to Gare du Nord and Sacre Coeur and ten minute walk to two other Metro lines. We felt safe during our entire trip – traveling in the morning or latenight. The staff was phenomenal – offering lots of tips and support throughout the trip. The place was very clean. I felt very welcomed and felt I had made a new friend by the end of the week. Overall, I cannot recommend this space enough – comfort, cleanliness, safety and friendly service made for a wonderful space.

Our stay was excellent. Staff provided a warm welcome. The room had everything we needed. The hotel was steps away from a bakery and grocery store, so we were able to have fresh, warm pastries for breakfast every morning. Great place for families to stay.

Our family of four had the two bedroom apartment. It was spacious and had a small kitchen with everything you could need.

This hotel is perfect for a family of four and located right next to the metro and a block from two grocery stores. The room was clean and had everything you need - small kitchen, air conditioning, pull-out bed for kids or another couple, outlets with coveters, sparkling or filtered water dispenser in the lobby, and friendly/helpful staff. I am celiac and the host gave me numerous recommendations of where to eat and shop.

Our family’s stay at Le Matissia was delightful from start til end. From the very warm and personal welcome, with tips of places to explore nearby, to the well-furnished and stylish rooms, to the vibrant neighbourhood with dining and shopping options in abundance. Would strongly recommend

Absolutely fantastic hotel! Very centrally located. Service and communication was fantastic. Super clean and comfortable. Had everything you’d need, full kitchen! (We didn’t use, but still amazing). We were given recommendations and suggestions for around Paris and local restaurants. This would be our go-to hotel in Paris. It held our family of 6 perfectly.

Had a quick 2 nights in Paris and couldn't have picked a better place. Perfect accomodations for our family of 4, awesome location to subway, restaurants, bakery, and groceries all within a block or two. And the staff were super nice and accommodating, we'd easily return next time in Paris
