Hôtel Vacances Bleues Provinces Opéra

I stayed for four nights at the hotel with family. The room that we got was spacious and the bathroom was quite large too. All standard amenities were there. The location was close to Bonne Nouvelle metro and this made our life easier. There are good dining options around the neighborhood too. Great location of the hotel makes me recommend it.

To say we were pleasantly suprised on arrival is an understatement. When comparing hotels at a similar price point to London, one never expects too much, however this hotel exceeded all expectations. Room was huge (triple family room), as was the en-suite bathroom and it looked to have been recently decorated. Bed was very comfy and room was full of light from two large balcony windows. In terms of location we were very close to a choice of Metro stations and the local Sentier district was full of bars and cafes within walking distance; we even walked home late from Montmatre in less than 25mins The only negatives we had were the lack of fridge in the room and maybe a larger selection of hot food at breakfast. We were sad to leave but will definitely look to stay here again next time we visit Paris. London hotels really need to up their game as this level hotel sadly highlights the huge gulf in standards and value for money between the two capitals at the moment.
