Hotel Ampere

The Hotel Ampere was easy to get to from Gare du Nord, and we were surprised to see the Arc de Triomphe from the end of the block, about 20 min further away. Our room was delightful, stylish, bright, and modern, and the staff were very welcoming and completely professional. The neighbourhoods is as quiet as Paris likely gets, but liberally dotted with cafés patisseries etc, and a 15 minute walk from a large, exquisitely lush and verdant park with a coffee shop and a lovely vintage carrousel and children’s swings tucked into one corner. We would return to the Ampére in a heartbeat.

Hotel Ampere was great!! My wife and I stayed there for 5 nights and we couldn't be happier with our stay, the staff, the amenities and the convenience to the metro and all the tourist sites. The staff was super friendly and there was no language barrier as they all spoke English {happy face}. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to family & friends!

This an excellent hotel with good sized rooms and a very convenient location to explore Paris and surrounding areas. We stayed as a family of 3 for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Special thanks to all the staff who have been very welcoming and helpful. Would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Paris.

We loved our stay at this hotel. We stayed for 9 days in August in a family room (for two adults and a teenager) The room was very clean and good value, with a coffee machine and good TV. Staff were absolutely wonderful - they made us feel very so welcome and always greeted us with a smile. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to transportation and with a few nice restaurants nearby - the hotel advised us. The hotel was clean, quiet and the breakfasts were lovely. We enjoyed sitting in the bar area. I would definitely return.

We stayed at Hotel Ampere for 4 nights in August. I was looking for an affordable hotel with air conditioning that would sleep 3 people (2 adults and 1 child). We were welcomed by very friendly front desk people. Every staff I saw was very friendly at this hotel. We stayed in 2 different room types. The first night we tried the Eiffel Tower view suite and this suite was very large. There was a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower from every window and a very nice balcony with a table to sit on and watch the tower sparkle. The rooms had numerous closets and shelves and the bathroom was large with a walk in shower, a separate tub and wash sink. The View room was clean, quiet, large and very comfortable. The next 3 nights we stayed in the less expensive room that still slept 3 people. This room had a view of the courtyard, was very quiet and clean. The extra bed was made up and my child said it was comfortable. The bed was right beside the bathroom in the front entrance area, but it worked fine for us. The breakfast service was 5 star, even though the breakfast itself was expensive, we splurged 1 morning. We stayed here in August and many of the restaurants and bakeries in the area were closed. The area was very quiet and felt safe, and I went to the Monoprix 1 block away multiple times to get items needed for the day. I would recommend Hotel Ampere for a traveller looking for a very nice hotel at an affordable rate in a safe part of town. Metro and bus service is very close

Great property, clean and the staff are very welcoming. In a Safe area, I recommend this place for families.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family for two nights. We booked two rooms so my young daughters could have their own privacy and ended up having two rooms side-by-side. The rooms are nicely furnished and the bathrooms are clean and the staff in the front desk were very helpful especially when arranging for taxi to the airport in advance. Overall it was a great place to stay although I believe the continental breakfast was a bit too high at 22 euro per person but the dining area and the overall location look nice.

My family and I truly had the best experience at Hotel Ampere. We were walking distance from the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees, while also being around the corner from two metro lines. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially Alex who took the extra time to always answer all of our questions about transportation or tourist activities. The property and rooms were clean. The garden patio was lovely and the neighborhood was so peaceful. Breakfast was delicious and so fresh. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Ampere when in Paris!

Excellent stay. Emailed the hotel with some queries (reserve parking, baby cot, etc) before our stay and they answered immediately, saying that they’d made notes on our reservation. Reception staff, and in fact all the hotel staff we encountered, were exceptionally friendly. We didn’t need a lot of help, but I’m sure if we had they would have been only too pleased. Room was a little small (that’s Paris though, nothing unusual) but nicely decorated and well-maintained. Bathrooms modern and spotlessly clean. Car park is a little tight to manoeuvre around (again that’s Paris car parks) but very secure, well lit and clean. They seem to use the underground corridors between the lifts and the car park for storage too, which makes getting luggage from the car park to the lifts a little tricky, but nothing insurmountable. Three spaces are equipped with electric car charging, which isn’t mentioned on hotels.com but I found on another web site and was a big reason for me booking this hotel; that and the secure car park. The 17th arrondissement is of course a delightful part of the city, and a short walk to the Arc de Triomph, Champs Elysees, etc. Definitely a favourite area to stay in. Overall, highly recommended.
