Hotel des Trois Hiboux

This is the perfect place to stay with your family for a few days while enjoying the Parc Asterix. The hotel is beautiful, made entirely out of wood and the decor is charming and tasteful. The rooms are great for families with a large bed and a separate area for bunk beds for two kids. It was our second time. There and it did not disappoint. Parking is free and access to Parc Asterix so convenient. Restaurant and drink choices are limited but you can walk to the other resort hotel like La Cite Suspendue for a great family outing and a change of scenery. Only downside is there is no pool but plenty of green space to relax.

An amazing hotel made entirely of wood, perfect for the family and to visit Parc Asterix. Easy parking and direct access to the park. Beautiful views and great walks with the kids. A charming and quiet place to spend a few days.

We stayed at this hotel to go to the Asterix Park for a birthday treat. One day, it rained so the radiators in our room were a god-send when we arrived wet and cold and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms are in 2 storey woodland lodges which are very quiet. We used the restaurant for the buffet dinner on the first night which we considered quite pricey though all the food was fresh, varied, hot and tasty. The breakfast on both mornings we were there was again fresh and very varied. Our children (10 and 7) loved the fact that they could meet Asterix and Obelix in the hotel foyer after breakfast. The magic show for children at 8.30pm during the holidays is in French of course but our children still enjoyed it. Our only problem was that we had planned to go to Paris on our last day, our daughter's 7th birthday, since our flight home was in the evening. I enquired at the hotel Reception desk about how to arrange our transport to get back to the hotel later to pick up our case. I was told (allegedly checked on the airport website) that there are places at CDG Airport to leave your bags. Despite the fact we were very sceptical, of course, we discovered that obviously that is NOT possible. The result was that we spent her birthday at CDG airport.

A clean modern hotel which is conveniently situated for Parc Asterix. This Hotel is family orientated and provides rooms that will cater for a family of 5. Food is average and there is plenty of it, both dinner and breakfast operate in a buffet style with choices. The hotel provides a bus service to the Parc which runs every 15 mins and they will allow you to use their car park all day free of charge once you have checked if you are visiting the parc that day.

We stayed here on way back from south of france to break the journey for the kids - it is a lovely hotel with generously sized and very nicely decorated rooms - that also have an outside balcony or terrace which was a nice touch. Hotel also has a games room and shop. Asterix and Obelix came in for breakfast while we were there which was great for the kids. Very nice restaurant with a supberb buffet breakfast and convenient shuttle bus service to the parc.

Excellent location just off the A1 -ideaL to break the journey back to the UK. The park was closed and there were hardly any guests so it was a bit spooky! Meal in restaurant delicious, rooms great for kids.
