SUNRISE Crystal Bay Resort - Grand Select

Our stay was perfect. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. The a la carte restaurant Mangal was the best highlight for our evenings. Thanks to chef Mohammed Ibrahim and all the staff there. All the other a la carte restaurants are bad, but staff is trying their best to make you enjoy your meals. The staff deserves the best rating for this review I am writing they made our stay much better then expected. The junior suite with seaview is amazing I recommend this room. The main restaurant only the breakfast is perfect, the lunch, dinner is very bad. Best to eat snacks at Yades at the beach. The Oasis beach bar Mohammed Derar is super super nice great service. Really all of the staff deserves a big appreciation. The animation team is sleeping need some training and experience. The shows are super short and very boring. There is no music in the beach only 3 songs for the whole day.

The hotel was nice - rooms were basic but the amenities were good. I liked the variety of food available which always tasted fresh. Sometimes felt the food was similar between restaurants. The kids areas need more work and more things available as the play area is outdoors and very basic and some of the events are in the evening when kids are asleep.

If you are looking to spend the best time in Hurghada, Sunrise Crystal Bay is the place to go. Food is great, lots of options that would suit every palate. We were a family of 11 people and we always had something to do. kids friendly activities were great. I would like to specifically mention the amazing care and support of Ahmed Youness who accommodated my requests during our 6 days stay. Mr Ali and Ashraf from Guest relations have the best attitude and conflict resolution skills with very happy manners.

Joyful stay at five stars resort with luxurious facilities . Staff are very proteins al, polite and friendly. Rooms are spacious, nicely furnished Andy well served. The price is way less than wha the facility deserves. Several swimming pools with animation , water polo and gymnastics teams are available, in addition to a private beach. All well maintained and hygienic . There is variety of food, breakfast buffet is one of the best and the restaurant is nicely designed with indoor, outdoor and children corner. In the evening there are many activities and options including life music , animation, karaoke , folklore ...etc. In a nutshell , the resort is an excellent choice for families, couples or solo travellleres. A place to recommend and to return back to for sure.

Our 2 and a half week stay at Sunrise Crystal Bay started off with reservations, however the issues were quickly resolved by guest services. The hotel itself is grand with many restaurants to choose from, the food and service were first-class, especially Yosry from the Mediterranean who always greeted us with a cheerful smile and remembered our drink orders, making it our favourite place to dine! The lobby bar staff, Amir would happily serve amazing cocktails and always tried to surprise us with his creative inventions, on one evening when my daughter was feeling unwell he made a special hot drink for her, which seemed to cure her overnight! The reception staff Ahmed Samy went out of his way to ensure that everything was perfect and was very kind and helpful throughout the stay. The entertainment is fab, especially for kids with the evening mini disco and shows which they couldn't get enough of. The animation team Sandra, Matyou, Momo, Ibrahim Black always made an effort to get us to have fun during the day at the pool and in the evenings and were fantastic with the kids. The beach is a bit of a walk from the main hotel, and is a small area with a lovely lagoon and plenty of sunbeds and cabanas to relax as well as a beach bar. The hotel was a bit on the quiet side and not many British guests at the time, although we did get a lovely Sunday roast dinner. The junior suite was exceptional,with stunning sea views Overall we had a fabulous time, and would recommend it to families

The Hotel is not suitable for Old people or people with infants, long walking distance from the beach to the room or to the main restaurant, and they only have 2 golf carts for the whole resort which means you can wait alot to move from place to another if you can't walk. Also if you want to do snorkeling its not the suitable place, all the sea activities from another hotel with so l9ng walking distance. The stuff in the restaurant attitude is not nice except Mrs. Hasnaa the only one working so hard. Also the front desk team and reception team are wonderful . Also Special Thanks To Mr. Zakaria, the front desj manager who helped alot to improve our experience in this Hotel.
