The staff at the hotel were extremely attentive and caring. They consistently inquired about our well-being, ensuring that everything was in order throughout our stay. Particularly noteworthy was their thoughtfulness in providing additional water for our child, demonstrating a high level of customer service and consideration for our needs.

I recently stayed at the Valencia Hotel in downtown Cairo for four nights, with an initial booking for a "Superior Room with city view and King size bed." However, my experience did not quite match the expectations set by the hotel's advertisement. Upon arrival, I was informed that the superior room was not available, leading to my first night being spent in a "family" room. This room fell short of expectations, offering poor amenities. The next day, I was switched to another room, but it still did not align with the description of my original booking. Contrary to the promised king-size bed and city view, I found myself in a room with a queen-size bed and no view of the city. One of the most significant drawbacks of my stay was the lack of room cleaning and daily toiletries. The carpet is quite filthy. For those who rely on internet connectivity, whether as digital nomads or for casual use, the hotel’s internet connection was disappointingly inadequate. The poor internet service proved to be a major inconvenience, especially for guests needing to work or stay connected during their travels. On a positive note, the hotel's location is indeed advantageous, being close to several landmarks in downtown Cairo. However, this benefit comes with a downside. The area is bustling with activities, and the nighttime noise was a constant presence in my room, which can be disturbing for guests seeking a peaceful night's sleep.

Staff were extremely professional and friendly. We had requested a family room and the hotel allocated us two rooms that had their own hallway. It was ideal for our family of four. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel is right in the centre of Cairo’s shopping district, 10 mns walk from Tahir square and the Egyptian museum. We did all transfers for sightseeing by Uber and everything was 10$or less. Cairo is loud and hard and dusty but the hotel is (rather) calm, relaxed and really clean&tidy. Located on the 2nd floor of an old town building the first impression is strange, but as soon as you entered reception you feel like in another world. Staff is exceptional friendly and organised tours (Pyramids in Sakkara, Dashur, and Gizah, river Nile dinner cruise) and everything for us (we travelled with three young kids). All rooms were equipped with a/c, TV bathroom, and hair dryer. Breakfast was fine (Continental style).

Arrived for check in at night and were told our suit is under maintenance!! So we either accept splitting the family in two rooms or cancel the reservation. Very disappointed with the management of the hotel. Staff on the other hand was helpful. The property location is very central with loads of shops around which is useful but also makes it noisy.

Found some hairs on the bed when we arrived and the sheet had a singe mark that looked like a cigarette burn. But otherwise, the room fit our needs as a family of four and was comfortable. Was also a little disappointing that they had nothing available for us for breakfast (even coffee) despite us informing them the night before that we had to check out at 6:45am (before the official start of the breakfast).
