We chose this hotel mostly because it had a lovely high rating, but think it maybe has since changed ownership? Weird tchotchkes all over the place, manager's / owner's (?) kids screaming in the kitchen... all a little hokey, without the charm you might have expected from the photos. We were charged extra for the breakfast btw which at 300DKK for 2 was shockingly bad. A few bits of supermarket cold cuts, some windfall apples and awful ginger(?) coffee so bad I couldn't drink it. Pretty location on the water, button't keep the high ratings for long if this is the best they can do. Certainly wouldn't recommend at the price.

We received a lovely, warm welcome. We were shown around and given a lot of information to help with a day trip to Copenhagen. What a great family! They couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. The house is lovely and the setting is stunning. Our room was very comfortable and cosy, with a view over the sea. It is so peaceful and we slept really well. The breakfast buffet had a large selection of meats, cheeses, fruit, bread, hot items etc. You won’t go away hungry. We loved staying here.

Very friendly and warm hosts. They gladly helped us find good spots to visit in the surroundings that we appreciated a great deal. The kids could use parts of the garden to play and we walked by the path down to the sea. Lovely place! The room was huge with a little balcony and the bed was very comfy. I strongly recommend this place for both singles as well as families.
