Hotel Zlaty Andel

My family of 5 stayed here for one night and wished we would have stayed many more!! We had two rooms, a double and a triple. Would definitely recommend! One room was much louder than the other due to bar noise below, so ask for a quiet one if that would bother you. This is an excellent hotel. The only bad thing was our GPS went crazy trying to find the hotel and we got a little lost, because driving to the city center is pretty much not an option. We happened to find the parking lot on our own, so we parked and walked in to the hotel. That being said, just contact them ahead of time for exact instructions as they do offer a shuttle service. Also, the hotel does not have any elevators, so be prepared for stairs (a lot!) depending on your room. The breakfast room is also located up stairs. The food was very good. Our rooms were HUGE for American or European standards. The hotel has two restaurants and a couple bars attached to it. We ate at one restaurant and spent a very enjoyable evening trying different drinks in the bar area, which got very crowded. The location is fantastic - We could literally walk out the front door of the hotel and be in the main historic city square, which happened to still have the Christmas market going on. We strolled the city, walked up the hill to the castle and found many lovely shops and cafes in this city. We LOVED Cesky Krumlov and I would rate this as one of the best hotels we've ever stayed. Definitely stay here!
