Aqua Sol Holiday Village & Water Park

I have stayed in this Hotel in August 2022, and it was my second time with my family in this property. my daughters loved this place specially the water park and the lazy river. The restaurant food was excellent for breakfast and dinner, always plenty of choice and nicely presented, but for the lunch meal we used to eat in the bar next to the big pool. We booked with my wife & child a room for 5 days. Upon arrival, there was not such thing as "warm welcome". The staff were cold, our reservation was not easy to find, & all information given for our booking were wrong (name, citizenship etc). Furthermore we had booked for half board & they insist to explain the term more than 3 times till i told them that we fully understand english. Rooms supposed to be equiped with kettler and kitchenette as per description indicated to the website. However there were only 3 cups for coffee & nothing alse, when i complain, they said that supposed there shouldnt be anything more. Finally they gave us only a kettler but no microwave. The room was suprisingly good & cleaned. However the telephone to call the reception was not working, heating operation (for the first night) of the airconditions not working & there was a noise outside the room from the aircons. Furthermore, the next day our room was not cleaned & had to talk with the reception. Public toilets downstairs near to the reception were clean but smell awfull. In Gymnasium there was only one treadmill, few scuttered dumbells & a hercules gym equipment out of order. Kids waterpark was also incomplete since half of the facilities were out of order (two water rides were not working etc). There was a variety of food but the quality was awfull. We ate onlu the first day because we had stomach pain/ vomit. Only our 5 years old kid enjoy after all our staying.

It was clean and friendly, food was good nice choice and entertainment was excellent it’s a brilliant place for children.

Firts time getting into the room, i had to take out a small lizart. All was looking good apart from missing pillows. Went to ask from the reception, but they told me that cleaning service was not available so i had to wait until morning. So had to sleep first night with no pillow. Following day i went again asking for extra pillows, and again at lunch time, but nothing. My husband then went to get some in the afternoon, and was not leaving the reception empty handed. One hour later he got them. And no, this is not the reason for the low score. Reasons are the kids crib having a folded blanket for mattress. Ants in the bathroom. Waiting 20 min for eggs in the morning. Running out of various items at breakfast. No orange juice, no water glasses or coffee cups - they had to bring paper cups at some point - NO COFFEE apart from plain black coffee with no milk - waiting 10 min for milk for kids corn flakes, breaded potatoes were reheated from previous day, waiting forever for someone to come and clean a table to be able and sit for breakfast, not having ANY TRASH BINS in the whole hotel in all areas, apart from a few which were just for recycling, no sufficient cleaning room service... Had the Clean my Room paper on my door handle from the morning i left the room, and until 19:00 when i went back, nobody cleaned it. Despite all of these though, and the hotel being HUGELY UNDERSTAFFED, a very big WELL DONE to the staff, which were doing their best to please their guests.

Food: very bad! We did not eat at the hotel. Room: OK. Lots of ants everywhere. Though it was a beautiful view of the sea Swimming pool: Again, just ok. It’s good for families. Water was hot! Which was not very nice with the heat Check-in: The room was not ready by 2pm and there was a few others waiting in the reception for their rooms too. It could be just a one-off and it could not. If you have travelled far and with kids, not ideal. In General, you can get better with your money

We read the reviews before coming and were a bit worried as there were lots of negative reviews. We can't understand why - the staff were friendly, the food was good (better than other AI places we've stayed), the waterpark was excellent for children, and it was very clean. The rooms were also really good. We'd go again.

Great place for families with kids under 12. Pools are great but life guard around lazy river not close enough to watch the pool and never looking towards the kids. Rooms are modern but only cleaned every other day. Ours was only done twice in 10 days so not good. Food is good but staff are wearing jeans and tee shirts with only a hat protecting hair. This made the restaurant that is modern and bright look realy down market. Get the staff clean uniforms all of them. Areas of the buildings are very poorly msintained, just to the left of the front door is the deliveries and it stunk and had fluids running down the street. Behind the restaurant had fluids leaking and looked poor. Around the pools had ants everywhere, in most hotels these areas are washed and hosed down each day to clean drink spillages etc but this did not happen so the floors could be bad in busy areas. I know i am pointing out many areas of concern and i feel all could be sorted easily to enhanse a hpliday. Our holiday was good the main Barman Ashley and another lad on thecevening bar are great. One womon on reception was excellent. The water park for the kids is also good. We did realy enjoy the holiday but it was more 3 star than 4 star.

Property needs a refirb. Stayed 8 nights but room only cleaned twice, which we were informed of in our booking in package. Very few Brits in hotel, guests mostly Eastern block, who could sometimes be quite rude and arrogant. Food was excellent although restaurant was like a canteen. Lots of small children who were well catered for. Unable to gain access into the sea as beach was boulders and no sand. Pools were very cold. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties as lots of steps.
