Apartments Villa Kolar

Villa Kolar is situated within walking distance from a small but wonderful beach with crystal clear water and lots of shade for those who don't necessarily want to stay in the sun. There's also a couple of small (and quite basic) supermarkets nearby plus a good pizzeria. Željko, our host, was very attentive. Whenever we needed something such as a high chair for our baby, light bulbs, or towels he would swing by within minutes to drop the stuff off. We rented a car during our stay and had no issues finding a place for it, as Villa Kolar offers decent parking space. If you're not in good health, please be aware that the apartments are situated at the top of a very steep hill.

Pros: clean, modern, quiet, reasonably spacious, aircon, parking and the the kids loved the pool after a hot day of sight seeing. Cons: not the prettiest location (no views to speak of, certainly from the ground floor), the last 1km off the main road is steep in places and narrow (beware of pedestrians and local drivers), hot water tank small so a family of 4 all needing showers takes some logistical planning, some more pillows would be nice
