Our kids did not like the pool so we checked out a day early

Our family of 5 recently stayed here and had a great experience. Staff was great from our planning stages until the we checked out. They were helpful planning our tour of Cloud Forest (very close to the entrance - ask for Roy as your guide-he was excellent) and the restaurant staff was very friendly and attentive. The dinner at the restaurant was very nice. Rooms were cozy, clean with a nice view overlooking a garden. The property is pretty with a plenty of walking trails and gardens. We regret not staying more than a night in Monteverde, but would make another day or two next time.
