The hotel staff was professional helpful. Rooms were cleaned daily. Exactly what it says it is. Location is excellent there is a good bar for sunsets. Coffee was great every morning.
Pool was nice a relaxing and comfortable.
Only positive vibes.
Recommend to anyone who wants an affordable comfortable place to stay with family or friends.

Booking tip: seems like rooms 9 through 12 were on the backside, no ocean view but private and away from the swimming pool so we didn’t have any noise problems at all. Restaurant: wasn’t the best tasting food but the portions were large, priced fairly and since the restaurant is right on the beach front it’s a great place to watch the waves and sunset. Saw several families staying which implied a tranquil vibe. I noticed some rooms (I think room numbers thirty something ) were overlooking a parking lot so I would inquire properly where the room is situated. All in all I would go back for another stay. Everything seemed very clean.

I really enoyed my stay. It's a family owned business and I like supporting that. Good coffe and breakfast. It's right on the beach, the staff were very nice. The room was comfortable. Definitley great value.

Loved this property. So nice to walk out of your hotel room to the pool and also be able to see the ocean. We are a family of four with two teenage sons and we all loved being able to rent surfboards right outside the hotel on the beach to surf. The beach and water was divine, and we enjoyed the ease of getting delicious adult beverages and snacks at the open air bar area. Super close/walkable to shops/the town. We did have a car and that was nice - parking was easy and the staff was super nice. Would recommend to anyone going to Jaco!

This property is quite unique and the biggest draw to its charm in fact is it’s off the beaten path yet in the midst of it all nature. From the start your welcomed by smiling staff members who help you with your trip within their capacity as soon as you are ready. I planned this trip knowing I would need to get transportation somehow from the airport to the hotel and Yosh M. and the staff made preparations and planning for our travels seamless both before and while we stayed. It is refreshing to know that one can plan a trip knowing every detail is and will be in order and whenever possible will be treated far beyond or better than they expected.
After check in as you begin to walk across the bridge towards your room you’re welcomed daily just outside your door with your own miniature rainforest, with local animals and the nature warmth of the climate to greet you. Inside you have working air conditioning and a large room with excellent and clean accommodations. There is also a safe and refrigerator within the dwelling. Depending on where your room is located you can then walk towards one of the two locations like the restaurant or the bar or the pool or straight onto the beach. The size of this wonderful hotel makes it your time there so delightful because you get to know the staff members and they really are like family.
I actually read this on an earlier review and it’s what enticed me to book my stay. The best! Will return, Highly recommend!

I normally stay on the north side of Jaco beach but wanted to thy the south side this year, and gave this hotel a shot. I stayed in room 9 which had some nice features like two double beds, an A/C, a small fridge and a coffee maker that can be used to make hot water for tea. The room is comfortable, the bathroom could use an update but the shower was decent. No hairdryer. I was unlucky to have fairly loud neighbours in room 10, it's not the most soundproof of hotels so I could hear full conversations quite clearly from next door. The hotel grounds are pretty and full of plants, a bit jungly and with the sound of waterfeatures providing a soothing white noise effect at night. Sometimes you can smell the drains when you walk around, not uncommon in very hot beach towns like Jaco but it does put you off a bit when on the way to breakfast for example. The breakfast buffet is nice enough, simple and basic cooked options, toast and some fruit. Its a hotel geared towards being kid friendly so if you want pool time without screaming running kids then don't stay here. The more tranquil beach is thankfully right there and while the south side is busier than the north side, it didn't feel overcrowded in late February. Jaco is a 10-15 min walk away with dining and shopping options, good groceries and the typical beach town tourist tat shops. I'd stay in this hotel again if I didn't find a better option available.

This hotel has lovely views of the mountains and ocean. If you want to spend a little less they have cute little rooms in the garden. Dont be fooled when you pull up. It doesn't look like much from the street but the grounds are lovely. Don't expect a north american standard resort. This one is a little older but the beds are great, the lighting in the rooms is flattering, and they have a bar and restaurant right on the ocean. The service has been great too. Side note, if you are a couple or traveling without kids and you don't want to party too hard this end of Jaco is for you.

Let me start by saying this place is amazing, it’s on the south end of the beach which is more quiet then other areas of the beach. It has everything you need to fully satisfy your vacation needs, pool, steps to beach, bar, restaurant and pleasant staff. We decided on this hotel cuz it had the beachy local Costa Rican feel not a fancy corporate hotel feel. The breakfast was delicious and fresh every morning. Rooms are clean and have AC if you get too hot and need to cool off! The views are amazing from the beach. Just overall an amazing experience. Great for families or just couples, we will def go back one day!!
