Hotel & Villas Huetares

Located a couple of blocks from the beach. Comes with free breakfast, nothing fancy but decent. Staff not super helpful at check in. Didn’t provide good direction to room or information about pool use. Only one key for the suite, which was inconvenient as we had four people. Noise was an issue on the weekends as large families arrived and they stayed up very late talking loudly outside their suites. Overall, not bad for the price.

Not far from the beach, secure unlimited parking, helpful staff. The villas were large enough for a family, unfortunately I was by myself this time. Everyone is close to the large pool, my only complaint was that the hot tub was not working. Other than that, I loved my time there.

It is a nice small Hotel that can serve as an operation base, between Liberia (Main City, 30 min drive) and the beach coast (Hermosa Beach, 4 min walking) Hermosa Beach is not the prettiest, but is nice, clean, with blue waters. From there you can visit, Coco, Danta, Las Catalinas (30 min drive) or Flamingo, Conchal, Playa Grande, Tamarindo (60 min drive). The town has the minimum, supermarket, drugstore, and a few Restaurants. The Hotel has a small Restaurant, with good food. Breakfast included is a buffet, with a nice size of fresh fruit, and typical meals, including real eggs, and sausage. Tasty. The parking lot is safe, and there is a charger for Electric cars, pretty handy for the zone. Swimming Pool area is a fair size, with two charming, crystal clear water pools, a jacuzzi, and a kids pool. The rooms are small but include two queen beds, a desk, and a very cool touch: a small fridge, good AC and flat TV, hot water, and everything was very clean. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely come back again.

Located near beach. Check in was rude, didn’t explain wifi, breakfast, etc. rooms are very outdated and rundown with no plugs in by bed. Pools were wonderful. Very loud at night wouldn’t stay again with kids. Staff not very helpful except security guard was friendly

Convenient location for access to Playa Hermosa - about a 5 min walk. Hotel was pretty basic, but clean. The staff was very kind, the grounds kept clean, and three great pools (one for kids). Minimal English spoken by girls at the desk. Restaurant attached was just ok, but there was a little soda right next door that was good! Parking lot was secure/gated. AC worked great in room. Nice full kitchen.

We got the two bedroom two bathroom villa. Each room had a queen and a single, which was very nice. The one bathroom was connected to the bedroom and the other just odd the kitchen. Although we didn’t use the kitchen there was a full table and cooking utensils and items. There are two main pools and a kiddie pool. A restaurant connected to the front office- we opted for breakfast included price so we didn’t have to worry in the morning. The food was amazing! We checked in after 9pm so just contacted the Expedia agent who let the front desk know so we could get keys from security. There is a little market next door & just down the street a man, Fernando, he has signs about tours and such- go through him!!! We did a few other fishing tours and snorkeling but he was super affordable and his crew was amazing with kids.

Nice, clean, family atmosphere. Totally recommend!
