Very nice experience for a weekend scape with a family of 5. (3 kids below 9). They enjoyed the time there, in the volcanic spa, (mud and thermal pools) and also in the swiming pool and gardens

Beautiful property! It’s like paradise once you finally make the drive up the questionable road. Room was beautiful and clean but pack lotion because they don’t provide it in the bathroom. Also, make sure you pack everything you need including bug spray because they don’t have anything to purchase at the hotel. We didn’t have bug spray and couldn’t buy any from them and got eaten alive! There’s nothing around the hotel either so once you are on the property you are there to stay. My kids did a fantastic zip line excursion and my daughter and I an incredible horse back ride all available at the hotel for an extra reasonable cost. It was the perfect 2 night stay before we headed to the beach!

We stayed in the junior sweets in room 504 and saw monkeys outside our porch every morning at 6:30. It was surreal and a trip I’ll never forget!

I travelled here with my 3 kids. We really enjoyed the steam house, mud bath and pools. The food was really good- especially the complimentary breakfast. In the morning, I walked up the hill to the back end of the farm and it was an incredible view of the surrounding forests, cattle pastures and mountains. This is a really nice place.

Beautiful place! Super fancy and very clean. We took a tour to the Top of the world and was awesome! Had a great time. Restaurant menu does not contain kids menu but if you ask the waitress you will get options for the kids.

My husband and I have had a difficult year, this vacation was a time for us to recuperate, unwind, relax, and rejuvenate. We loved the wild life that we encountered. The staff was wonderful. We were in the junior suite and it was so peaceful. Being able to sign up and experience different activities right there at the resort was a bonus. The only time we needed to leave the resort is when we went in to town to pick up some snacks and drinks for our room. Normally, we are very active, adventurous people, but after loosing our daughter this past year, this vacation was what we needed. We had just enough exposure to Costa Rica and it’s beauty without needing to leave the resort.

We loved it here! Highlights are the pool, mud baths, hot gyser outdoor sauna, horse back riding, waterfall and zipline. Although we loved the resort, we got a lot of bug bites (no seeums) spent huge amount on food and drinks, and got bored after doing the tours, so we spent two nights and checkout early to get back to the beaches. We are a family of four with two boys 7 & 9.

We loved every minute of our 2 night stay. There were so many things to do right on site, it's a one stop and you're done for the highlights--horse back riding, zip lines, hikes, wildlife, thermals pools, and volcanic excitement. The grounds were perfectly kept, and the pool great for the kids. The food choices were good for 2 days stay.

Fantastic experience. Reserved a junior suite with a driveway to park our Land Rover. Just amazed by the views from the separate front room of the villa. Monkeys came by in the morning right in front of the villa. We had amazing room service with exceptional food! Because of the extreme landscape of the place they even shuttled us around the resort with just a quick phone call, free of charge. Thank you you for an amazing ending to the end of our trip in Costa Rica. We are professional travel bloggers, you can reach us with more info about this incredible resort at toeatchthierown.com
