Greenwood Inn & Suites

This hotel is very dated. The lobby looks up to date but the rooms are straight out of 1970. The AC unit wasn't functioning properly, it was advised to keep it at 20C to avoid freezing up, it never really worked well. We weren't comfortable with the location as we had young kids. We would pick somewhere else to stay for that reason. The pool was really nice and big and the on site restaurant is okay.

It was a nice stay, but was unaware the pool was closed for matenice for 2 weeks, so my child was a little disappointed.

Was a complete disaster with noise. Kids running banging doors, walls etc.. with 2 kids we didn’t enjoy our night at all

This hotel is a bit run down and requires some maintenance to be sure. The room was clean enough but quite small. the chairs and table in the room is a nice touch tough. The pool was convenient for the kids however, I found it a touch dirty. The location was good. Walking distance to a number of restaurants

This property needs some money reinvested in to it. Windows filthy. Stains on fabrics on chairs, carpets. Just feels it’s needs a deep clean. Convenient location and kids like the pool. Other than convenience, probably wouldn’t stay again.

I’m sitting in this hotel with my family right now after a long and tiring day on the road. Unfortunately, the 2nd floor lobby was turned into a dance bar at 10:00pm and the entire building is shaking with thumping noise. The main lobby and entire 2nd floor is filled with drunks and the person on the desk told us this will continue until 1:00am in the morning, at which time the drunks will stagger, howling in the halls, back to their rooms where the party will continue. All the hotels in the area are full and we are stuck here. The staff couldn’t care less about the guests and the $220 we’re paying a night to supposedly “sleep” here. I assume we won’t be getting any sleep tonight. We will never stay here again. My advice to you is to do the same. There are people walking around the halls with drinks in their hands like it’s one big open dance club. And outside of the noise, this hotel is filthy. The beds are clean but the carpets and furniture is rotten and don’t appear to have been cleaned in a decade.

We were only there for two nights and the first night was a little noisy as there was a hockey tournament going on in the city and the kids were playing out in the hallway for several hours but it calmed down after a couple of hours. We were on the first floor close to the stairway so it probably wasn't the best room in the hotel, but we didn't consider that a big deal either.It is nice to see people enjoying themselves.

We were greeted when we arrived and the man at the front desk was very nice, inviting, and informative. Rooms were spacious and clean restaurant on site was delicious and very friendly staff. The kids enjoyed the pool! Will be back again!!

Good stay, close to amenities. Pool was cold though, which was the reason we booked as the kids love to swim.

I booked a room for my mother and mother-in-law to take my children for a fun night away. They checked in at approximately 5 PM and they were sent to a dirty room not cleaned since last guests. They waited with an infant and two children in the lobby for the room to be “cleaned” but after getting back to the room it was evident that it was very poorly cleaned. There were coffee stains on the wall leaking behind the desk and there was dirt, dust and garbage under the desk. They asked for a pack and play for the baby and were brought a broken one. When they ordered food from the restaurant at the hotel many items were unavailable and the online menu had not been updated. Overall it was a poor experience and the hotel and room in general seemed run down. Very little staff therefore poorly managed. We have stayed many times at this hotel in the past and never had these issues. Disappointing service.
