Hotel Zed Tofino

The decor is “bang” on for The 70’s era! Loved the outdoor hot tub & sauna! The food & coffee at restaurant ROAR was outstanding! Wes at the front desk reception was SO into his 70’s groove that it was exhilarating! The room shower was HUGE, bed was awesome, SO many activities to do for families AND the hotel location was perfect, walking distance to the beach, 1/2hr drive from Ucluelet & awesome hiking trails! Would definitely go back!

The whole hotel was so fun and unique! Everyone in the family is sure to enjoy. The restaurant (Roar) is absolutely amazing! Great, passionate chefs in the kitchen. Locally sourced food. All around a great experience!

I absolutely love how environmentally aware they are!!!! I also love that they support local vendors for their shampoo, conditioner, soap etc. It is also a really fun placebto stay! Kids love it and adults can act like kids ... great place to stay!

Really great for family or groups. So many activities to do on the property including a sunken lounge with board games. A private room with a table to play cards or board games with friends, a mini disco, seceret arcade behind a trap door book shelf, ping pong table, playground, mutilple fire pits, a walk down to the mud flats, a massive hot tub/sauna and bike/surf rentals and surf lessons available in house! They also have a spa area you can book. The restaurant in the restaurant also has fantastic food. If you are looking for a truly unique experience I would highly recommend Hotel Zed Tofino!

Forget your run-of-the-mill hotel experience. Hotel Zed Tofino throws a disco ball into the mix, offering a groovy stay that caters to all kinds of travelers. Location is superb just a short walk from Chesterman Beach and a few km from Pacific Rim National Park, the hotel's true gem is its secluded inlet access. Hotel Zed attracts a eclectic mix of guests, which often wouldnt work but somehow delivers. You might find surfers unwinding after conquering the waves, artists getting inspired by the funky decor, or families bonding over a game of ping pong. The atmosphere is friendly and inclusive, making it easy to strike up conversations with fellow travelers who share your zest for life (and maybe a bit of quirkiness). It also offers free use of washing machines and driers which is unusual but extremely welcome for those taking up activities in the area. Overall a really enjoyable stay

This is a great place for a couple or a family ! So much to do and it's such a fun relaxing atmosphere. Felt like we had been on a true getaway from everyday life! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

Excellent place to stay with family and friends. Kid friendly , pet friendly, very comfortable and vibrant . Enjoyed our stay . Will stay here if we visit again .

We just love going to Tofino and we went this time just the two of us for my partners birthday weekend. When we checked into the room there was a lovely surprise for him. Most of the staff is very friendly and professional yet like a good sense of humour. The shag carpet lounge is a great place to meet new people and fur babies. Always a good time there.

The Zed was an upbeat happy place, perfect for an old hippie like me and her family. The most welcoming lobby i have ever entered was full of sweet surprises . A tiny complimentary breakfast item would have been great with the fabulous coffee in our room. We will definitely be back!
