my room was opened from outside, some stranger opened our room door using a key card. my wife thought it was me and it was not!!!! that person exited very quickly.....i don't know how this hotel is making mistakes like this. my two young kids are inside as well....not acceptable....and they charged me 170 dollars for upgrades from a king bed to 2 queen beds at the counter for 3 nights...the price is exatly the same on hotel.com...not sure if i got scammed by the front desk...the staff is friendly at least...will not recommend anyone go there.

Hotel is clean and attractive and the rooms are nice. Adjoining rooms is a plus if you need them however there was zero soundproofing between the rooms where the doors are so we were woken up multiple times by the baby and toddler next door. If you and your partner stay here, be aware of your own ‘noise level’. Our room had just a tiny mini fridge and no microwave. I’d call it cozy for a 2-queen room.

The hotel is in great shape and the room and the room was clean and very comfortable! The pool looked small to me (there were 5 kids in there when i peeked in) and the hot/cold breakfast was okay. I had a bagel with cream cheese and an orange, plus coffee. There were apples available but I wish there had been bananas. I played some pool in the common area which was inviting and had great seating availability. The cue sticks were weird though and had plastic tops which made playing difficult. The room was clean and bright and in great shape... but the black out blinds would onlu go down 75% down the window when we arrived. This turned out to be a problem at night when the bright flood lights from the car dealership were shining into my face. I called front desk and was offered a room change. I didn't feel like moving rooms at 10pm so I tried the blinds again after front desk advised that they're not partial blinds and should close fully. That inspired me to reef on the blinds with all my strentgh and they finally came down. However in the morning they only rose to that 75% level again... this issue existed before I came and is likely waiting for the next guest. Otherwise, for the money, the hotel is great and offered a clean and comfortable sleep!

I stayed there with my family on Tuesday night.
Idea was simple.. to get good sleep before i drive back home.. which is 800 kms away from Edmonton.
At 1 am my wife and i woke up to loud noises coming from room next door.( they can surely use some better sound proofing) waited for a bit to see if they would stop but they didn’t.. called front desk and complained.. waited again for a bit and it didn’t stop.. went down to see the person at front desk.. sophia was the person who dealt with me. She was considerate n apologetic and went up with me to speak to the people next door.
They went quiet for half n hour or so and then again went rowdy! Woke my 4 year old too! My wife called sophia again at 3:30 or so and then finally around 4 they went quiet!
We had no sleep at all since 1 am and got a couple of hour sleep till about 7.
I explained the whole thing to their manager named kits, who lacked basic manners and attitude one should have in hospitality industry! His body language was “in my face”
I expected refund since the whole night was a mess n didn’t serve my purpose of staying. If i wanted to drive back without any sleep. I would have left the evening before!
Anyway. To my shock! Their MANAGER!! said I should have checked out if i was uncomfortable!
I mean seriously!!! They expect their guests to check out if they have any issue at 3 in the morning. Especially when they have a young child with them!!

Hotel is nice and price is very good. Was build for family entertainment with pool and game section a lot of children in the facility. I was there on business, still good but not the best suite for purpose of my visit.

We were told that the room we reserved was not available and we offered 2 rooms instead. We refused and suddenly another room was made available. 5 minutes later another couple with 3 kids showed up and they were told exactly the same thing. They were not offered any other room that would accommodate them all and had to split the family with young children into 2 different rooms. I don't think this is OK for a hotel with 9.0 rating. I wasn't impressed. The staff showed no concern about not being able to fulfill the conditions of the clients reservation and were completely fine looking at that family being split into rooms. Not impressed at all and will choose different hotel next time. Breakfast was lame as well, old toaster hardly working, no choice of fresh bread, just some Safeway bagels and white paper bread. They don't deserve to use the Hilton brand.

I am absolutely disappointed that there is no coffee machine or microwave in the room. There is no hot tub.... rooms are small. I couldn't imagine bringing a young family here. Definitely generated to the older population...

Foot step noise from upstairs throughout the night. No hot tub is big. Not properly managed facility. Front desk lady was busy to take care of her child on site. Not a expected quality for Hilton.

This place was clean and comfortable. There is a fridge in the room but no microwave or coffee maker. For me, this was okay, but for parents of small children or a baby, they might check to see if rooms are available with these options. I would stay here again.

The hotel staff were very unorganized during our checkin. The common areas were clean, like the sitting area and gym. The floors were messy and slippery without any “Caution” signs. The room was small, the walls were thin, the clock had the wrong time (yet a sign in the bathroom said we would be charged $50 if clock was missing), the towels were worse than gym towels in feel and size, the pillows are of varying fill (one seemed new, one was extra flat and the other had very lumpy filling and no structure), the sheets and pillows were dirty! Our sheets had grey marks and the pillows had blond hair on them. The comp had stains on them, but was covered with a white fancy sheet and we didn’t see it until morning. We were woken to the neighbouring rooms phone alarm and mating. The floor doesn’t have carpet, which makes it cold and you can see the dust one the edges. The shower felt like the bottom and small sill/seat hadn’t been scrubbed as it had black and brown/rust residue. For the price we paid per night, I should have paid the $10 more to stay at the Holiday Inn next door or $20 for another hotel on the Southside. The facility is new, and has hip looking paint. This is the only bonus it has. It may be good for a sporting kids group, or a larger group looking for discounted rates, it is not for a family, work trip or couple.
