Hampton Inn & Suites By Hilton Calgary- University Northwest

We always stay in this hotel, in a king suite with kitchenette. The rooms are big and spacious and well equipped. We were on the 3rd floor this stay and the people above us, were like a herd of elephants, until late every night. This was tiring for my family and I as we had early starts at a sporting competition and couldn't sleep until they did, our room was shaking. Better sound proofing would have been welcomed. The air condition/heating units were a nightmare. Even though we turned they off, it still cycled every 20 mins and it was loud. Unfortunately there was no wall plug to cut the power to the units. The tap in the kitchen sink only dribbled water out too. Breakfast, pool and gym are great. The hot tub and tiling around the pool needs some attention, my son cut his foot on rough tiles. Usually we love staying here, but this time we didn't enjoy it as much and left exhausted.

Nice stay, clean rooms, family traveling together it was nice they accomodated all three rooms near eachother. Beds were comfy, breakfast was good. Pool was lovely! Didn't like the barn doors tho for the bathroom in the rooms...but that's not a reason I wouldn't return...I would definitely return and recommend!

Had a great 3 night stay with family. Parking and breakfast was included. Beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Enjoyed the pool and checking in and out was quick and easy

Came in for a family vacation. Pool was great, though the way the slide is angled if you have big kids/adult going down it splashes the whole pool and you have to wait on the sides. Room was great, breakfest was good, finding seating to eat for a family of 4 was chaos. We would come again, the price is a good deal.

Stayed here while visiting family. The hotel was outstanding. It was in a nice location and also had some fast food. Restaurants in walking distance. Staff was very friendly hotel was very clean and we enjoyed the amenities very much breakfast was included and had a nice variety to select from.

Loved the location. It's perfect if you are heading towards Banff the next day. Beautiful hotel as well. BUT the hallways/car park were so uncomfortably hot. There seemed to be no air conditioning and merely walking to your room or eating breakfast in the main area was uncomfortable. Other than that, good place to stay with children.

We liked the pool and the waterslide. The pool is clean and our kids had a lot of fun playing with the slide.
