Wyndham Tortola BVI Lambert Beach Resort

Caution when driving at night. No street lights along the steep terrain leading to the resort. A puddle of water settled in front the entrance door when it rained. If you visit be sure to carry skid-proof shoes.

This is one of the most beautiful beaches on Tortola and we explored the whole island. Probably not the beach for kids as the waves can get big but i enjoyed swimming there. Pool is gorgeous and Im sure if I had my kids with me we would have spent more time there. If you are looking for a quiet place then Wyndam is it. Rarely saw other guests. Mostly at sunset and Im talking like MAYBE 5 other people on the entire beach. I am so glad I rented a car for the week as this hotel is quite remote. The food there was good and we opted to eat in our room but glad we had a car to go explore other options. Especially liked Beef Island for dinner! Im not sure grabbing a cab is very easy there. Few things we figured out along the way...we bought a cooler for the room and stocked up on drinks, snacks and ice daily as the room fridge was not cold and there is really no access to ice at hotel. The rooms were beautiful. Yes some ants but comes with the territory. Alex the groundsman was extremely helpful for navigating the island and whatever we needed at the room. Pool bar only open on weekends. We basically spent our days exploring the island but looked forward to returning to Lambert and our room each day for sunset, showers then off to dinner where ever! I would go back for sure.

All together a great stay. Swam at the beach and the pool. Enjoyed both lunch and dinner. Wish they had rooms with two queens -- otherwise families have to book two rooms, which is quite pricy. There is no hotel shuttle to the airport -- only taxi service -- which was reliable. Would easily stay again
