Best Customer Experience Ever! Beautiful landscape and great food, but the staff and s really what stands out. Every encounter was so warm and pleasant. I promise you these are the friendliest people ever. You feel more like family than a hotel guest. I will definitely come back again!

We were there for a week with family. The ambiance of the resort is just beautiful, the architect is very impressive. The design team used so many natural items that really reflected its beauty. The staff was continually attentive, and friendly. Some in our group did some diving , their impressions were some dives better than others, We loved the snorkeling trip, beautiful fish!
The restaurant meals for the most part were very good. Great breakfast buffet on Sunday . The pool is on the small side, and swimming in the ocean was very choppy with the current being strong. You can do a bit of snorkeling off the dock. There are no tvs in the rooms, but one in the outdoor seating area. Rooms are very comfortable, with fridge and microwave. Night time is very quiet, no much to do. Wouldn’t recommend walking out of resort- as there are no sidewalks , just many golf carts buzzing by. Bring a good book!! Oh! Be prepared for lots of wind and high humidity, after all you are in a tropical island!

We had 20 family and friends at Ramons for my Brothers wedding. The resort was clean and well cared for. The food was great, actually all the food on the island was amazing. The staff, everyone, from check in to check out were exceptional.

Ramon's was a nice resort in a not-so-pleasant part of town. We stayed in a casita in the Steve & Becky's lodging across the street. The room was totally fine, no frills. Night noise wasn't an issue. The main resort was very lush and decorated and nice to walk around.
The resort has two pools but neither has much shallow space for little kids (our 5-year-old is not yet a swimmer). The beach has a blocked off area to keep out (most of) the sea grass, which our kid loved playing in.
The restaurant was decent—we had breakfast there once and a fruit plate one afternoon. A little pricey, as hotel restaurants are.
The staff were very kind and generally helpful. They were extra sweet to our child, who brought some Hopkins-sourced mangoes to the kitchen, which they cut up for her :)
We booked a snorkel trip (the manatee/tarpon/seahorse tour) through the hotel and had a great time. The boat captain and snorkel guide were friendly and knowledgeable. Very accommodating to our kid who braved the water and needed some support.
Overall the hotel was great, though we didn't love San Pedro as a whole.
Note: The street between the two parts of the resort is like a golf cart highway. Dust, dirt, noise, speedy traffic, barely a sidewalk—we had to be on alert crossing with our child. Not the hotel's fault, but be aware. This area should (and could) be a walking and biking heaven, but instead everyone's shuttling around in diesel-powered golf carts.

I cannot say enough good things about Ramon’s! The property is beautiful, staff are uniformly excellent, food at Pineapple’s is fantastic, and the service was beyond wonderful, every day. We stayed with our children 5 and 9 years old), and could not have picked a better spot.

I thought this would be a nice place to stay but it really exceeded my expectations. We arrived at the ferry terminal and I had not pre-arranged transport nor asked about it. They were waiting with 2 golf carts - one for us and one for our luggage.
The guy that checked us in was AMAZING. Such a great personality. I feel terrible that I can't remember his name but he was a delight. Everyone was so nice, helpful and authentic.
My kids absolutely LOVED this place. The pool was lovely with the foliage all around it. We cannot wait to return!

Amazing place to stay! The diving and fishing is what they excel at. Rick runs an amazing dock and crew with all of the activities. The staff goes above and beyond and really makes you feel like family. The rooms and resort have the island charm that is our style and we loved it. Heading to the smoothie bar each morning is something I will greatly miss and the restaurant food is delicious-always go for the specials. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Amazing place - looks better in person than the pictures. I chose it for the location - close to town yet on the beach. Couldn't have worked out better - the on site restaurant Pineapples was delicious, the rooms perfect, and the pool and smoothie bar excellent. Could easily walk to town yet was a little quieter but not completely outside the main area. Staff was excellent and accommodating. Really perfect for me and my family.

This was an excellent place to stay with our group of two families. The staff was so helpful and friendly all the time, even when just walking around the porosity. They have golf cart rental on site and the amazing snorkel and scuba charters right from their dock. The beach isn’t really for getting in, but go to the end of the dock and there is clear warm water to jump in and swim and get snorkel close by. We loved our stay here.

Ramon's is a small resort in the heart of San Pedro. There is a great dive shop on site for snorkeling/diving and we used them several times with the kids. There is plenty of shade by the pool and loungers/hammocks on the beach. Note: there is no hard alcohol at the resort, only beer/wine. The smoothies were great.
