Saint Francis Resort

St Francis felt to my family as a unique resort perhaps because it a smaller resort. We felt special and pampered by the attentive staff who answered all questions and made everything pleasant and easy. We were impressed with the boat captain who was super responsive about ferrying us where we wanted to go and helpful in other ways too. The room was lovely and clean and the view of the ocean and the waves soothing and breathtaking. We ended up eating most meals at the restaurant on site and the food was delicious and prepared with care.

I absolutely loved it here. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Very accomodating. I stayed in the newer house boat to get the panoramic view of the water. It was great. My only issue was the water taxi driver was very rude at times. Very unpleasant, frequently refusing to carry guests over to the main land for booked excusrsions and other needs without compensating him extra, talking negative about the other staff members, and insulting guests. Other than that, everyone was so warm and welcome. I did a full day tour to explore the island and everyone was amazing. The local residents were very helpful and friendly. Food was great. Easy access to the beach. Access to kayaks and water toys. I liked how there was hardly anyone at the beach no matter what time. Very family friendly. Great place to unplug, relax, and have fun.

The location is great!!! Kera and the staff are awesome… We will be back and spend more time at the resort… Best place to relax with a loved one or family…

St. Francis is a special place. My kids, husband and I have all said this is our favorite place to stay. The island is beautiful and the stretches of beach on the ocean side are virtually untouched. Quick water taxi rides or by your own boat to get to all of the good spots on Great Exume. Staff just was the best. Super friendly and hospitable. Food was delicious. Went for Fourth of July and chef cooked up big American barbecue Buffet island style. Food was delicious at every meal. Kids and hubby and I want to make this resort annual tradition to come bk to. Keep doing what you are doing snd thx for a great stay!!

Amazing place to stay. Staff is so friendly and treat you like family! Very small quaint and comfortable property on a beautiful beachfront. Food and drinks were incredible!

This was part of three stays I had in Exuma and this was my third stay on Exuma. This is such a great location...if you want to hangout at chat n chill or go kayaking. They say no snorkels due to covid, but they have them wink wink. All inclusive option is great, as food is expensive on the island unless you cook for yourself. They had a really nice new years party vibe and went above and beyond for the service. We did not regret the all inclusive deal which saved us probably hundreds, but sometimes the options were limited. The cooks are good. I highly recommend sticking with what is local and authentic to get a quality meal. Don't be trying Italian cuisine up in here. Fresh ingredients of quality are extremely limited. I would have liked more veggies. Now for the rooms: they are dated but the linens are good quality and clean. The beds are nice. There is no phone or TV and the wifi is slow, so if you have no network on your phone you have nothing. Would I stay there again? For myself personally, a big serious issue was that we had no air conditioning on the second night. This really took the wind out of our sails. If not for this issue, I would stay here again. It is really ideal for kids. There are usually other kids at chat n chill. You cannot get closer in terms of convenience. Very safe, lots of old time locals. Very friendly. Very beautiful. Much to explore. Be sure to get into a kayak and explore it. There is nothing to be afraid of it is quite safe.

We can not rave enough about this resort. The minute you arrive you feel as if you are being welcomed into the family. The staff Dario, Lisa, Mari, Kira, chef LUCAS, chef Donna, and Pat are the best! They take care of you in the best possible way. The location is stunning with a beach view and private beach. We’ll be coming back for years to come.
