H+ Hotel Salzburg

The hotel is right outside the salzburg main train station which is a huge plus for travelers. I did not like that the plaza or the front of the hotel/train station had so many people drinking beer in broad daylight even there was a sign of no drinking allowed. The authorities should be more stern about keeping the drunkards out of the area as some tourist would feel unsafe just by seeing them with boxes of beers. Otherwise, the hotel had the best pillows and duvet. They had the best breakfast buffet so far. So many options to choose from and the view from the restaurant was amazing. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. There was one exciting incident though, we were awaken by the emergency alarm that all guests were needed to evacuate at 3 Am due to technical issues. The first announcement was in german then in english. My husband and i work in a hospital, and are used to emergency drills. We went out of the building in less than 5 mins coming down from the 5th floor. I was amazed by the parents with small kids going down the stairs w/o any slippers, they know how to act in an emergency. 4 elders though came Out last with their huge luggages with them. You know who will survive and die from that incident.
