Radisson Blu Hotel Altstadt

The hotel was pleasant but definitely not 5* as advertised. This would put it in the same bracket as the Sacher or the Bristol and it definitely doesn’t achieve the same level of quality. It was in a really convenient spot, right in the middle of the old town. Great for the shops and restaurants near by. The hotel was quite tired and noisy. I know the hotel has no control over guests and their children, but the maids would repeatedly shout “housekeeping” as they entered the neighbouring rooms first thing in the morning , before having chats on their mobile phones. Friends of ours staying in the room opposite had to change rooms because of the night club under the hotel. Staff were pleasant and happy to help, but definitely not a 5* experience.

It was a great stay. Hotel located in the best location, perfect if you have little kids and have to go back and forth to the hotel. Staff are extremely friendly, from the front door to the reception and restaurant. All of them were nice. Very clean and large room
