Walking distance from the Bourke Street Mall and the tram stop and train station is a short walk from the hotel. Super convenient area to stay and explore Melbourne with many fun family activities close by and easily accessible.

Absolutely loved where the hotel was situated. Across the road from the Flagstaff Park which has a wonderful playground for kids, tennis court, lovely grounds to walk around and plenty of grassy areas to relax in. Flagstaff Station, tram stop, chemist warehouse, cafe, Melbourne Mint and of course Queen Victoria Market within a short walking distance (and for someone like me who does not really like walking it was real plus). The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. The customer services are right up there and nothing was to much trouble. The gym, spa, sauna and patio area on the top floor was fantastic. Great selection of gym equipment and in very good condition. Really clean and tidy and you are provided with wipes, towels and water a cooler. Floor to ceiling tinted windows allow you to get an amazing view while you workout. There is only one thing that was a let down for us and this was the condition of our room. It was quite dark especially when you first walk in (foyer/hall and bathroom) lots of black and felt outdated. Unfortunately our room was at the back of the hotel so even though we had a window it looked out onto the apartment block next door and their patios so we had to keep the curtains drawn (when booking I would suggest you request a room that looks out onto the park). The room was however very clean and provided all the normal facilities you would expect but is in dire need of a facelift to update and brighten every thing up. Thanks Radisson

We loved the spaciousness of the junior suite,we were able to sleep in seperate rooms, the rooms are very tired and looking old and smelling of wet carpet.

We had a wonderful stay at the Radisson to celebrate my birthday and also to have a short family staycation in Melbourne CBD. The staff took really good care of us and tended to our every need. Location was fantastic - close enough to CBD or tram stops; we had no issues traveling about even with a toddler! The Junior Suit we had booked was spacious and clean, allowing us to have separate spaces whilst my toddler napped/slept at night. We opted for valet parking at the hotel - once again, great valet service as car was ready whenever we needed it. We also got coffee, drinks and food from the cafe/restaurant downstairs - yummy and well-priced. A special shout out to Pritish, Susan and Mario for taking such good care of us during our stay! We can't wait to come back again.

The staff at check in were lovely and were fantastic at keeping my two very excited children entertained while I did all the paperwork. I highly recommend getting the breakfast included. Great value, friendly restaurant staff and the attention to detail is spot on. Overall a fantastic place to stay.

Stayed GP weekend ata fairly late-in-the hour booking , so everything was hectic.
However, the staff were excellent, both helpful and knowledgeable. Some hotels that consider themselves considerably upmarket could take a lesson here.
My original room wasnt cleaned, so staff asked me to wait . Soon afterwards Georg came to tell me they had changed my room so I could avail it immediately. Nice!
I dined in the restaurant on Friday evening and it was very good , if typical hotel fare . I ate ocean trout tartar ( a bit heavy with avocado) followed by lamb cutlets . This was listed as rack of lamb but the meat was sliced before serving . It was pink and tender. Breakfasts were also good without being great .
The room was tight but the bed large and comfortable. Pillows suited me and I am fussy.
The bathroom was clean and bright with good amenities. Unfortunately the shower head was slightly broken so water flow was uneven.
All in all a good stay . There were lots of families obviously heading to the race ,and this hotel would be an excellent option for such groups.

Fantastic service at the Radisson. The staff were very considerate to my family who needed to be in the city for several days. Eric from guest reservations was particularly helpful, and the reception and restaurant staff were also very kind. Looking forward to staying again. Excellent experience.
