Oakwood Premier Melbourne

Building was lovely, rooms could have been lovely but house keeping and management let the hotel down. Checked in at 5pm to a room with 3 beds only got one, took til 930 at night to get a second bed and that was after calling for an hour with no answer going down to frontdesk and calling for another hour again with no answer. Room did not have enough towels and took til 5pm on day 2 to get towels, got a room with a kitchen and the oven wouldn't work, toilet leaked and had a constant puddle in the bathroom. Even though I specifically asked for no daily housekeeping they still came into our room when we were out and serviced the room touching all our things. And after all this and a 'we'll be in touch today' 5 days later and still nothing from anyone with an apology for making what should have been an exciting family getaway in to a stressful dissapointing experience. But to end on a positive it was a 5 minute walk to the convention centre and dfo and 10 minutes to the river so that was good.

The room was great. Amazing view. Staff were great. Mirror in room was dirty, child fingerprints, not a huge issue. Fridge was not cold enough.
