Park Hotel Mount Gambier

There were only 3 renovated rooms upstairs from the hotel gaming venue and restaurant. It did not look attractive from the outside from the street, but the room (Pierce) was better than expected. The rooms have been tastefully renovated. Our room was spacious for a family of 3 for a 3 night stay in Jan 2023. It had everything we needed. There was a separate communal kitchen for hotel guests. Bacon, eggs, bread and milk were included. Guest were welcome to use all the kitchen facilities provided. Staff were friendly. Our room was quiet. We couldn't hear the noises from the downstairs or the street at night. Highly recommended!

For the price we paid our 2 children had to sleep on foldaway beds, this was not mentioned when putting in a room for 2 Adults & 2 Kids, very disappointed. Also would have thought if you are staying at the Hotel you may get a discount on your meal or a free drink if you dined at their venue. Wlouldn't recommend for a family of four.
