Majestic Minima Hotel

We're Adelaidian migrants to Melbs and stayed for 5 nights leading up to Xmas Day, visiting our families and friends. Overall we had a great stay here - located on our favourite street in one of our favourite areas, a big comfy bed, funky artsy decor and balcony in our room, easy parking for our rental car, a rooftop area for hanging out in and friendly, helpful staff - what's not to love! The rooms are small but manageable, even for our long-ish stay, and the room layout and furnishings are well-planned for the space. We only have three quibbles: 1. Please put more coathangers and more hooks for coats or bags - 4 hangers and one hook are only enough for one person staying for one night (maybe). And a hook or shelf in the shower. 2. Our showers would have been so much nicer with one of the high-pressure shower heads that are available these days, instead of the original old water-saving one that was in our bathroom, and emitted a fine spray from a stubby nozzle that was mounted about 2m up the wall. I washed my short-ish hair and it took me about 45 minutes to catch enough of the drops that fell in my direction, just to do the necessary. I reckon far more water was wasted than saved. 3. No internet TV seems cruel and unusual nowadays - I'd happily use my own data for playing TV & movies if my phone could talk to the TV. I mention the above issues only because they'd be quick & easy fixes and would've made our stay perfect rather than great. We'll be back 😊

Saturday night - nightclub music across the road 👎 FANTASTIC price, so small and basic room expected 👍 I DID book a room with 2 singles and a room with a King bed, got 2 King beds…NOT good for my teenage children 👎

was there for kids sport. room was perfect as we were only there to sleep. It was comfortable, clean and friendly service.

Well placed for us to visit family. A little bit tight, space wise but still OK. Parking was a bit awkward even for a small car in some spots. We got jammed into a spot and had to do many manoeuvres to get it out. Had a great time though. Food nearby was excellent.
