Best Western Marco Polo Mackay

The room itself was actually pretty good. Pity no foxtel or anything. No pool or spa as advertised which was a big let down. Had to leave early and requested a refund for the one night we couldn't stay as we had a family emergency and have to leave at 6am so we werent even there for 18 hours yet charged for the full 2 nights and absolutely no empthy. I only wanted a refund for the night we didnt stay , so half my money back. But nope they dont care and are happy to jist keep my money. In these tough times youd think they would have a little compassion and refund the 1 night but nope. They dont care. Just money himgry like everyone else and wont help you at all. Even though it lacks the pool and spa as advertised. Wont be going back ever again and will make sure others dont ever stay there. :( if it wasnt for that fact they would have got a great review as the room is pretty good. Sad ending to a great holiday.

We stayed in family room which could have slept 5 with ease. The rooms were well maintained, had aircon that worked and bathrooms that were clean with great shower water pressure. We would happily stay again.

Family overnight stop on longer road trip.Comfortable rooms. Had a family room ,basically a twin and a double bedroom. Pity the bathroom accessed via the master bedroom for the children . Dark wood furniture solid but dated. Powerful shower. Fridge, tea and coffee facilities in room. Missed having a microwave to use. Some occasional noise of airoplanes landing near by but did not disturb our stay. Parked on site right outside the room.
