Rydges Gold Coast Airport

So convenient to airport and a great 'breather' at the end of a full on family get-together

For the first time I used the little "Check In or Check Out" yourself machine when I checked in and out. Only because the two Front Office staff were busy with other guests when I was checking in and out. The whole process was very easy and quick. Parking area was very clean. In fact the entire property was very clean. My room was very clean, neat and the beds were very comfortable and we got a good nights sleep. The only thing I would've liked in the room was an chair at the desk area where the room phone was. I set up my laptop on the desk but had to stand when I was using my laptop. We had the buffet breakfast down at Madame Za's Restaurant. The presentation, and quality of the dining area was very clean and well presented. The quality of all food and drinks was excellent. All staff were very friendly from when we arrived to when we left. My daughter was competing in the QLD Beach Schools Volleyball Cup and surprisingly the Rydges was a very comfortable distance from Coolangatta Beach and many of the shops and other eating options families would need. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is needing a very safe and comfortable home away from home where you are made to feel welcome from the minute you check in to when your check out. Our stay at Rydges Gold Coast Airport, though short, was worth every cent.

We stayed here with our young baby before a very early flight. Staff were very helpful and we arrived to a fully assembled cot and extra towels in our room. Full blackout curtains certainly helped! After checking in, we all went for a little walk along the beach to get some dinner before settling in for the night and just walked in to the airport at 6am. Worth it for the convenience!
