Great stay! Clean, quiet, close walking distance to many restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helped us with anything we may have needed! Definitely recommend staying here and will recommend to family and friends visiting Cairns

We stayed here for 4 nights over the Aus Day long weekend in a double Hilton guest room. It was sufficient enough for myself, partner and toddler. The only down side about the room itself would be that the walls were really thin you could hear your neighbour showering or all the doors in your corridor slamming also bathroom not having a fan so it always steamed up during our showers. The daily cleaning was poor the second day they didn’t even change our sheets they just remade the bed with the same dirty sheets (toddler IYKYK) and floor wasn’t vacuumed. On the plus side we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet the variety of juices and smoothies were great, a lot of options of food to choose from however options didn’t really vary each day other than how the eggs were made. Location was great not a far walk from the lagoon n also the dock to catch ferries for day trips is right outside the hotel. The pool & gym facilities were great we used them everyday although there’s an eerie feeling to that side of the hotel I think they need to liven it up abit more. All in all we enjoyed our short stay here, nice and quiet and would stay here again.

Thank you to all the staff for being so considerate to us when my whole family got Covid and couldn’t fly. So we couldn’t make our holiday. Thank you to the staff for not allowing us to change our booking and lose the whole value of the trip. And thank you for not getting back to us when I made so many attempts to call and email to try and change the booking but with no chance. Thank you for taking our money and giving us nothing. Nothing at all.

What an AWESOME hotel. Had a 2 night stay in Cairns, wish we could have stayed longer. If we get back to Cairns, we will definitely be booking at the Hilton again. Right next to the wharf for departure for trips Great Barrier Reef. There in a couple of minutes. Nice dining options in the hotel and along the board walk. Great views from our room. My family and I agreed this was one of top rooms we stayed in during our trip. Nice amenities. Had access to Executive lounge for appetizers and breakfast. Parking on site. Just wish we had more time to enjoy the hotel and area.

My family have been to Cairns a number of times , but this was the best stay we have had. There were no problems. The location was great , right next to town. All the amendments at your foot steps. We had one problem at breakfast the omelettes always over cooked. Great place, 5 stars

I have stayed at Hilton hotels on many occasions but this one missed the mark in a few areas. Firstly, the good looking pool was where we wanted to spend a good deal of time. Unfortunately, the water was very cold and far too cold to swim, even for children. Whilst they had a spa, I did not want something that warm and crowded. The pool coldness was a big disappointment to our plans. Limited food options of an evening, with only Mondo offering evening food apart from limited room service and once some rain hit, Mondo's outside tables are not usable. Some basic service delays in some areas did not help. I like Hilton normally but this stay did not really meet the fun and quality stay we hoped for.

The hotel itself is quite old, but doesn't feel as though they have unkept the rooms very well. Room had no mini bar (which after leaving a $200 deposit, I'm sure they could supply this). Room had no watchable TV or cable channels. Only choices were weather, reading news articles or paying $16 a movie. Room service disappointing. Called to place a dinner order and was told abruptly to call back later. They were obviously busy, understaffed and showed no manners. I didn't order after that. Not very pram friendly. Found myself struggling with the front doors almost every time I came and went. Housekeeping knocked at 8:30 in the morning!! We were awake, but I can imagine how unimpressed you would be if you wanted a sleep in. Was ove charged on check out an excessive a amount of charges, that apparently were a mistake. To top off our stay, there was some kind of techno festival going on outside and we could hear the screaming and bass all night. not the best when you have a newborn baby. We were impressed with the buffet breakfast and all the staff we encountered in that restaurant. That unfortunately was the only highlight of our trip. Would source accommodation elsewhere next time we return.
