Hilton Darwin

The hotel was excellent, and the room overall was good, the one only gripe I had was the bathroom. When the shower was on the water didn't drain very well which meant the floor was slippy which isn't ideal with small kids and the fan wasn't very good either the bathroom stayed misty.

Our stay was good however we were over charged for breakfast. We live in Darwin and we had to present our drivers licence when we checked in but were charged $32 per person for breakfast instead of the territorian rate of $25 per person. Unfortunately we only noticed after we received a copy of our receipt by email. I immediately called the hotel but was told that I couldn't get a refund. It is a shame as we were there with a big family group for a long weekend and we usually do stay at the hilton on new years eve. Perhaps i should look for a different hotel next time. Just not good enough that they could give us a refund. Thanks
