We liked the family friendly atmosphere and activities, while parents can enjoy good quality wines at the same time.

Amazing little haven for a weekend getaway. Fantastic common spaces/facilities to enjoy and very friendly staff. From fire pits at night to pizza, animals, swimming, games and tennis the family had a wonderful time . Will be back. Room was great only niggly thing was the very small 80s shower !

The staff were friendly. The setting was lovely and great to see ecofriendly toiletries and bin. I was disappointed that our room was not ready at 3pm as I had driven 6 hours. We found a spoon on the floor of the room but the room was generally tidy. I also had to pay over $40 more than what hotels.com quoted. The facilities were good. The water pipes could cause concern if guests take an early or late shower. We were woken up by clunking pipes when someone upstairs had a shower. The breakfast was a great spread but the dinner we had from the Epoch was pricey and disappointing. There must be an abundance of baby spinach and a shortage of cauliflower.

Love the decor, love the vibe, the outdoor spaces, the pool style, kids games, live music at the bar, tennis all 10/10. (Breakfast buffet food was terrible, and the spa was broken)

Showered with cold water and pressure of water was not even enough to wash a baby

Saturday night stay in King Valley-View room. Unexpectedly & notably quiet for a weekend night which was very welcome. Character-filled, old-worldy ambience in decor of room. Older bathroom but suited the style & all very clean & practical. I would suggest a wall-mounted vanity mirror be included as mirror area a little dark for shaving/make-up applying. Very comfortable bed & pillows....like sleeping on a cloud. Room was very clean throughout with beautiful views. Unfortunately, we weren't left any slippers with our robes which would have been handy. The verandah partitions are incomplete & so are open to next door's & at one point in the late afternoon, a child walked past a couple of times. Wasn't a big issue but not as private as could be. Overall, a quiet, clean, comfortable stay. The Epoch bar is lovely too with great food & service.

Amazing property and service. We were there with a large group during rainy weather, there was plenty of space for children and adults to spend time together, facilities to keep us all busy and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Great stay highly recommended.

We had a little family getaway from Sydney and had a one night stay at Kirkland. Wish it was more though! The location was very convenient from the wineries and the indoor pool is fantastic for the whole family. The hotel has recently had a refurb and everything felt very clean, tidy and new. The breakfast at the hotel was scuptious and fresh, and the kids loved feeding the pigs and chickens on the property. We will be back!
