This place was perfect, convenient, comfortable, clean, quiet, and the staff was very nice, courteous, friendly, and delightful. It's a great place to relax and enjoy nature in Aruba. It's close to everything as Aruba is a small island. My wife and I loved this place, it's right on the water, and we would definitely return and recommend it to friends and family.

The owner was amazing very aware of his guest. I love the kitchen downstairs I was able to cook everyday. We are going to bring the kids back to this same location. Family-friendly, housekeeping was great, the view is breathe taking right on the beach 10/10.

I loved the property. Owner was friendly and welcomed me as if I was family. Beautiful location for a quiet, layed back scene. My only complaint was that the restaurant next door can become a bit chatty. When booking I saw that the Flying Fishbone closed at 10pm, which I did not mind as I go to bed around 9:30/9:45 anyways. However, for a night or two it was past 11pm and customers were still at the Flying Fishbone. I understand they may not want to rush whoever is eating but they should be considerate. (I say this because the same person who owns The Flying Fishbone also owns Coral Reef Beach, so I would think he would want to satisfy both sets of clients, not just those at the restaurant). The only thing that helped me sleep was turning up the AC on high turbo blast which fainted the noise to a level I was able to sleep in.Also one night I was sitting on the deck, and the owner or manager (whoever it was) allowed customers from the restaurant to walk on over from the restaurant side to the coral reef side. I did not appreciate this amd actually found it to be very rude. If I am not allowed to casually hop over the fense and take a look at the water where people have their feet in, why are customers at the restaurant being encouraged to come over to coral reef and hang out on the deck. In the future, I would like to come back again, because there is nothing wrong woth the property at all. Everything is perfect. It is the restaurant next door that is the problem.

This is a very unique property. It’s very cozy and homey, it almost feels like you’re staying with a family member (in the best way) which is a huge adjustment if you’re used to fancier glitz and glam hotels or all inclusive resorts. But trust me it’s so worth it. Its such a different vibe, and much more personal. Everything you could possibly need is located right on the property. Free use of kayaks, snorkeling gear, water shoes, spf and everything you can imagine is a huge plus. The view is amazing. I highly recommend you stay here at least once to experience it and you will love it. (and this is coming from someone who has only ever stayed at all inclusive, i was scared at first too!). The restaurant strip is about 20ish min away which isn’t bad at all but definitely rent a car. A small car whatever is cheapest is fine, the roads are fine. Zeerovers is a 3 minute walk away also. For morning coffee close by (8 min) go to Kulture cafe (hard to find, located on a corner, it doesn’t say kulture cafe it says San Nicolas stores or something like that the building is yellow). I could go on forever but believe me, you’ll absolutely enjoy your stay at the coral reef and the owners are amazing!!

Very small great privacy. Being American, used to hot water and there wasn’t any; took a bit of getting use to cold showers. Basic needs are met tiny beach. Great restaurant next door, very busy every night. Noisy but didn’t bother us. Rental car very necessary and jeep needed to enjoy the whole island.
The grill mentioned is in disrepair. Needs repair or replacement. 325 degree max.
People very friendly good base for sleep and going elsewhere. Don’t miss baby beach and Rum bar, best coconut shrimp on the island.
Aruba definitely the happy place and very pricey. Had a great time and ran of our lives
Definitely will return

This little gem was perfect for our family vacation. It is not a luxury hotel, but instead a quaint butique hotel with about 12 rooms in various sizes. We traveled 4 people and got the Family Apartment which was perfect for us. There is a second bedroom and a sleeper sofa. As mentioned this is not a standard hotel, but rather a super laid back group of units which share the downstairs facilities like hammocks, Kayaks etc. There is no permission slip or waiver for renting a Kayak, you simply just bring it out, be back before sunset and put it back where you found it. Same goes for snorkeling gear etc. You will get to know your neighbors since the space is small but that is part of the charm of the place. We have traveled extensively with our kids, and we all agreed that this was one of our favorite places to stay. Make sure your expectations are aligned and you will have a wonderful stay!
