I wanted a relaxing solo trip for my birthday. I arrived Sunday and stayed until Thursday. I started my days with yoga or Pilates (so good) and then made my way to the beach to read for the day, while being served right at my chair. Eagle Beach is the most beautiful beach I’ve been to. The sand is so soft and the sunsets are next level. Alex, Renic and Daniel provided amazing service. (Thank you). Get to the beach early to get the best chair (although they are all good). My favourite was spot #17. It is super safe at Manchebo. I would leave my bag or book at my chair if I decided to jump in the pool or do a walk by the ocean without any concerns.
The resort did everything to make my birthday amazing, which I really appreciated.
This is NOT a party report. After dinner there is very little to do, unless you leave the resort. I loved that the resort was small and intimate.
I estimate the average age of the people at the resort to be 50ish.
I recommend the resort for couples.singles.
I was told Aruba is super safe, but as I was alone and there for a short period of time, I stayed onsite.
I didn’t do the all inclusive option as I ate far less than the cost of adding that option.
The beds were comfortable. The rain shower showers were great.
I did notice that I was treated a bit different as a single vs a couple/family.
Take lots of books if you like to read, as you won’t want to leave the beach.
I would return to Manchebo over and over again. I’m so thankful.

Love this place! People are amazing. Beach is amazing. Walking distance to a little mall area with cafes, a market, coffee shops and casino. Smaller resort, best for adults as not much for kids to do. Restaurants were great.

The people the staff and the resort are a excellent experience in itself. My wife and I were greeted and treated like royalty.
I would go back in a heart beat. The beach was stunning. Highly recommended to family and friends

Always consistently fabulous ! Was here 6 years ago, and it seemed like family reunion . Everyone is caring and available. Facilities are beautiful, and adding more plants as a type this.
HIGHLY recommend for anyone looking for peace and quiet.

Manchebo was fantastic! We went the week before Memorial Day 2023, and it didn’t feel crowded at all!! The beach is huge & gorgeous, and the ocean is spectacular. There were tons of palapas with lounge chairs spaced far apart, so you really felt like you had your own private oasis. The service was great and accommodating. This is a very quiet place and super for couples because there’s no kids (nothing for them to do, really). The restaurants at Manchebo are good, and there are other nice options within walking distance.
If you’re looking for a party scene or a really hopping bar life then Manchebo is not your place, but if you want to relax and enjoy the magnificent beach and ocean in Aruba in peaceful bliss, then Manchebo is your dream destination!

The beach was beautiful, the property very nice, but a bit overpriced. It is listed as adult only and, while the beach is public, there were children around the property using the facilities. The staff was very friendly, but the service was a bit slow. There were flags for when you wanted beach service, but placing it up in the sand did nothing. After being told they would come get us at 3 so we could get into our room, we headed down to the beach. At 4:30, we finally went back to the front desk and were told, just go to your room....but we needed keys and the location not to mention the luggage. While I did love the location, it was bit low key. Could have used some music or entertainment. I did like it, just felt it was overpriced for what we got.

let me start off by saying that if you are looking for a mostly child free resort that is quiet and you will be left alone and not bothered this is definitely the resort for you. based on prior reviews I was under the impression that it is adults only but it is not. there was one family there with a child and if I were them I would have felt out of place because everybody else there is an adult. The resort is nice. it is not luxurious. it is like a nice rustic resort. there are little touches they could do to make things a little bit better such as more comfortable loungers on the beach, daily cocktail hour (not just on Tuesdays), cold towels to clean your hands before meals, Sushi restaurant open for lunch, softer towels, 2 ply toilet paper/tissues.
The resort is very eco-friendly and they do offer yoga every morning at 9 AM. smoothies are offered at breakfast which are delicious. there is a water bottle filling station at the ready at all times and while they give you plastic bottles to fill with water you would be better served to bring an insulated bottle from home so it stays cold all day. The staff were all very kind and accommodating.
while we enjoyed our stay I was surprised from other reviews how many people chose this resort for their honeymoon. I would’ve been very disappointed if this was our honeymoon resort. I think management could use to go through each room to see what needs to be cleaned/replaced.
Bucuti/Tara would have been a better resort choice.

This resort has the widest beach on Aruba. They do not have any kids activities, so great for couples.
The staff is absolutely the best!
The rooms are beautiful, updated and sooo comfortable.
The beach palapas are spread out and you can always get one due to the 72 rooms. This low rise is so peaceful compared to the pumping music, high atmosphere of the high rise hotels.
This is our 3rd trip to Manchebo, and we will not go anywhere else

One way to describe Manchebo is Serene. We actually started our vacation at a different resort down the beach from Manchebo. After 2 nights at the other resort we realized we made a big mistake (it did not at all look like it did in the pictures, and was dirty, loud (with paper-thin walls) and with terrible food and generally rude waitstaff). We were able to cancel and get a refund for our unused nights from that first resort and immediately called Manchebo to book our stay since we liked the look of it from seeing it while walking down the beach, and the reviews seemed very positive.
When we arrived at the Manchebo it was like night and day and a big breath of fresh air. The front desk greeted us warmly (as did everyone throughout our stay) and were able to accommodate our request for an early check-in with a lovely room that we enjoyed very much (it was very quiet/soundproof with very comfortable bedding and a most lovely view of the ocean).
We really felt like everyone was very friendly and tried to make our stay as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. The location and beach area was incredible, the resort was spotless clean, the yoga classes were terrific. I will wholeheartedly recommend Manchebo to friends and family, and will definitely stay there again when we’re in Aruba next.

We had a great time. The issue we did have was resolved promptly. Service is super and the beach is beautiful. Would not stay with kids, it is quiet and relaxing good for teenagers over 17 not younger. Location is great, right next door to a mini shopping area.
Spa on location was nice however we waited for 20 minutes for our appointment and we were 15 minutes early like they asked so sitting there for 35 minutes with no apology or explanation was a bit annoying. The scrub was great I would skip the massage was not very relaxing.
