Hotel Selva Montana

Very friendly family run. Beautiful garden and view from the balcony. Loads of butterflies and some birds. Clean, spacey, quiet. Breakfast buffet was very good. First restaurant nearby a bit of a walk along the road. Very hard to find something for improvement, maybe the hole in the mosquito-screen to the balcony

This lovely little hotel is a bit outside of Salta in the hills of San Lorenzo. It’s a leafy suburb with vacation homes of the wealthy Argentines. The hotel is very cute: it has a large and beautiful garden with a pool. The property is adjacent to the river and it would be possible to spend several relaxing days here. The garden has a nice playground for kids and a ping pong table for teenagers. The rooms are simple but spacious. The hotel has an eco certification and doesn’t have a fridge in the room. The bathroom is adequate but not luxurious. There is no elevator in the building but staff will carry your suitcase up to the second floor. The hotel doesn’t serve dinner but has several restaurants within 5 minutes (driving). The hotel has games available for guests and the terrace is a lovely place to connect with family and kids. I rate this hotel high for quiet and relaxation.
