First, the staff are great they cannot do enough for you.
The place has excellent reviews but with a one year old we had to reconsider and relocate.
It is apparent that hotels.com has some facilities listed which do not exist, which give the impression of a full service luxury hotel which unfortunately is not the case, (eg, 24 hour reception, bathrobes and slippers in the room, pool umbrellas, snack bar, children’s playground are all listed but don’t exist). Also, after breakfast and until the restaurant opens again at 5.30pm there are no open facilities here, and considering the remoteness of the place this would have been difficult to for us to manage with our toddler in tow.
We were also disappointed in the room furnishings itself although I think we had managed to pick the worst cabin on the lot - where others looked roomy and light with big windows and fully furnished patios, ours was dingy and dark and our ‘furnished patio’ was three rusty, uncovered iron chairs that were uncomfortable at best and dangerous at worst. I was told repeatedly that if I’d checked their website I would have known all this, and they claimed that hotels.com is not a reliable source of info!
I have stayed in many budget hotels and lodges of these types, and they are fine if you are not paying over the odds - however, at £200 per night, this is far below the standard I would have expected for this price.

Beautiful! We loved every aspect of Casa Glebinias. The family, the staff, and their talented dog, Esperanza are a joy.
We slept well in this beautiful, peaceful home. Our room, Liquid Amber was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
The food was absolutely delicious. The chefs are creative in their use of fresh ingredients. We were lucky not to have a lovely meal with good family wine and great food. The dessert was memorable. I cannot wait to recreate it!

Casa Glebinias is a family owned hotel that has the elements right for a relaxing stay. The room was spacious and the grounds were landscaped just right with tall trees and verdant bushes and lawn which evoked a European charm. A long enough pool for laps was an added bonus. The restaurant with see-in kitchen at the hotel is charming and had the best appetizer courses we had during our 3 week Buenos Aires/Iguassu Falls/Mendoza trip. Main course fish was great too! Friendly, helpful staff who made reservations for our winery visits. Unlike Napa Valley, wineries in Mendoza province require reservations.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Glebinias, a beautiful oasis in Chacras on the outskirts of Mendoza. The neighbourhood itself has lots of great restaurants withing walking distance and trips to the nearby vineyards are easy to arrange. The hotel itself is family operated and they really care about your stay, it's like you are guests in their own home. The individual cottages are very quiet and surrounded by wonderful gardens. The pool is nestled in the gardens and is a great way to wind down at the end of the day. The resident chef is talented and the meals are fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and we really enjoyed our time here.

A very pleasant environment created by the owners and their children. All staff were friendly and helpful. It was a great place to return to after a hard day of winery tours.

My wife and I just returned from seven nights at this amazing hotel, traveling with another couple. I honestly cannot remember anywhere we have enjoyed more. The room we stayed in (Jazmines) was on the second floor of one of four different detached houses built into a beautiful garden. It had a nice balcony and was very spacious. It is operated by the owners and their family. Alberto, the father, is a retired scientist and gardening lover and his tour of the premises was so interesting and charming that it counted as a highlight of our time in the Mendoza area. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and outgoing. We feel as if we have made new friends and not just had a business relationship. They were happy to arrange whatever winery tours or other things we wanted to do or simply to give us the necessary directions to go off on our own. It felt like being a part of the family. The complimentary breakfasts were excellent and the food for dinner, which is only open to hotel guests, was so good we ate there three times. The steak and the ravioli were as good as they could be. We loved the location, in a small town outside the urban bustle of Mendoza but with good restaurants and shops. This place is a real gem.
